Story
Meet Mr. Rogers! This sweet, lovable boy came to us in a difficult situation, but his resilience and loving nature have shined through. Mr. Rogers was handed over to us by a neighbor who no longer wanted him. We don’t know all the details of his past, but we do know that he has experienced some hardship. He was a bit timid at first, which led to a few of the other dogs picking on him in the busy rescue setting. But once we moved him to a quieter foster home with just two other dogs, he started to blossom. Now, in his foster home, Mr. Rogers is thriving and showing just how affectionate and playful he can be. Mr. Rogers is an Australian Shepherd and Miniature Poodle mix, around 5 months old, with a playful, cuddly personality. He’s high-energy, loves to be social, and is always up for a good snuggle. He’s good with other dogs and loves his humans, too. He’s house-trained, up-to-date on his shots, and microchipped. Due to his history and the emotional scars from his past, Mr. Rogers is listed as a special needs dog for now. We’re working hard with him, and we hope to eventually transition him to an "experienced adopter only" status as he continues to grow and open up more. He’s looking for a calm and patient family that can help him build the trust he needs. A home with another dog would be ideal to help him continue to thrive. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet boy into your family, we’d love to hear from you! Mr. Rogers deserves all the love in the world—let’s help him find it. 💕 Neuter scheduled 01/02

Story
Hoagie is a young, sweet, playful boy. He is currently around 8-9 months old. We adopted him from our local SPCA in July. He is quite a mix of different breeds but is primarily australian shepherd and Australian cattle dog. He is about 45 lbs. He has adapted well to our family and our other dog. However, we are a busy household with young toddlers, and he would do better where he can be walked more and get more attention. Our kids love him and we wish we could keep him, but we think he would have a happier life where he can have more attention and 1:1 training. He is crate trained and knows some simple commands. He is up to date on all vaccines and is spayed. He is GREAT with dogs and young kids. I'm unsure of cats, as he's never been around them. He loves chew bones, playing with other dogs, and belly rubs. Let me know if interested in making a sweet addition to you family!

Story
Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. If you are interested in Duke please submit an application to be considered.
