Story
Meet the lovely Margo, whose journey began when her mother fell victim to a car accident. Her rescuer provided tender care, bottle-feeding her until she reached independence in eating. However, during this period, Margo encountered Distemper and faced neglect in a hoarding situation with her previous foster family, before finding her way to our rescue. Despite a challenging start, Ms. Margo has exhibited remarkable resilience as a fighter. Building trust with new people may take time, understandable given her past, but once she does, she transforms into a playful, affectionate, and amusing best friend. Margo is characterized by her playful nature, intelligence, responsiveness to food/treats, and friendliness towards dogs. Fully house and crate-trained, she is ready for a family to call her own. Don't miss the chance to make Margo a part of your family! Please fill out an adoption application today through our online form: https://serendipityanimalrescue.org/pet-adoption-application/

Story
This boy was brought back because he was too much of a puppy who chewed because he was left alone and bored. So he is on the hunt for a family who will understand his needs and keep him busy!! He has a lot of energy and playing is his thing. He likes to play with other dogs, chew on toys and run run run. He does fine with kids, will have to learn about cats. He will need some work on housetraining and leashes. He is a bit stubborn when learning manners so will need a family who can work with that. A routine that occupies his time would also be a plus as that works with his breed mix. He is a sweet boy that has a wonderfully fun personality who just wants to live to the fullest. He needs a life full of adventures and activities and we know that family is out there for him. Dax is being fostered in TN but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Remember this large, litter of 12? They came to us just a day or two after being born in Patrick County Public Animal Shelter. They are now 12 weeks old and are ready to emBARK upon their journies of finding forever homes! Momma is available now too! They came into the shelter with an adult male aussie but we do not know if he was the dad and don't know what breeds they could be a mix of. These playful and energetic little ones are full of life and love. They love to explore, chase toys, and cuddle up when they're tired. These active pups are always ready for an adventure and would be perfect for a family looking for a fun and loving companion. During this national overpopulation crisis, we want to remind everyone that pets are a LIFELONG commitment. These guys are looking for stable adopters who are ready to love and provide for them for many years to come. They will reward you with a lifetime of fun and sloppy kisses. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
Leo is an endearing male Australian Shepherd, blending sweetness and a touch of shyness with a playful spirit that makes him perfect for any family. He is fairly calm for an Aussie and very smart and trainable. We cannot afford to keep him. He is fairly well potty trained, but not perfectly. He comes with a Vet Visit Records, Vaccine Record and a Healthy Habits New Pet Guide for your peace of mind. He has been dewormed and treated for ticks and fleas with frontline. He has been fully vaccinated for the parvo virus, lepto, and rabies and have rabies tags from the vet.
