Story
These gorgeous Aussies are siblings whose owners' declining health forced them to relinquish them. They are house-trained, play very well together, and are excellent travelers. They get along with the 3 other dogs in their foster home (2 German Shepherds and 1 mini Aussie). When cuddling together, Maeve and Murphy look like one big fluffy ball with 2 heads. Murphy is very lovable. He will put his head into your neck in the most endearing way. Mira Maeve, (Mai Mai) as we call her, is very well behaved, sweet, and pretty with beautiful round eyes. We do hope very much to find a forever home where they can stay together. Thank you for your interest in Murphy! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=18626 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Murphy, or to submit an online application. IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Scruffles - Scruffles is 8 weeks old. We think this litter looks like Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mixes (JUST A GUESS). Scruffles is the sweet and most shy of the group. The mom, Bonnie, is super sweet and has been a great mom. The puppies are all playful and loving and enjoy cuddling with their foster mom and dad. They have been in foster care since birth and enjoy getting lots of attention. The puppies will require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. This puppy will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy is $400.00. The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**
