Story
Philly is a sweet gentle fella. He is shy, but we are training with him every day to be more socialized. He is definitely improving! He likes to be around dogs and is good with children. He is not nippy and does not bark much. He is likely mixed with Plott hound with his beautiful brindle coat. His sister had the fluffy coat of an Australian Shepherd. He is crate trained and potty trained. He sleeps through the night with no accidents. He does stairs well and does a great job walking on leash. Accuracy is not guaranteed; however, information provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge.  For more information on the pet, please send an email to info@aforeverhome.org November 21, 2024, 7:27 pm

Story
Ansel is an adorable fella - a perfect size, housetrained, with impeccable leash manners. With Ansel you have hit the trifecta! Ansel welcomes the company of other dogs and actually gains his confidence from being around other dogs. So, a home with another dog, while not required, would be a bonus. Ansel can be a bit shy around new people but, with some time and patience, he will warm up and the end result will likely be an abundance of hugs and kisses. Because he tends to bond to people, with whom he finds comfort, it is important that all members of the household offer Ansel love and patience so that his affection can be shared equally amongst all. Ansel's favorite hobbies including chewing on hard toys, playing with balls, going for walks, and snuggling on the couch. Hey that should be pretty easy to accommodate! So, if you are interested in meeting this sweet boy, HART would welcome the opportunity to conduct introductions. Just say the word. Thank you for your interest in Ansel! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=17414 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Ansel, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Story
Unusually Exceedingly Peculiar is a very sweet puppy!  She is very confident and curious.  Crate training and outdoor potty training has gone very well.  She is able to manage with a schedule going out around midnight and then once around 4 AM.  She enjoys playing with children and is very interested to get to know dogs she sees in the neighborhood (but has not yet had the opportunity to meet any other dogs).  Unusually Exceedingly Peculiar communicates her wishes very clearly with a soft cry when she wants to be picked up or has the need to be put down to do her business.  She interacts well in play, but also is able to play independently.  Her forever home will surely have many joyful moments with this sweet one!       Mandatory in person transfer date: December 14th at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption. ##2238767##
