Four year old Jersey came to the shelter with four other dogs from the same home, and has been by far the easiest to work with, to get out, and to convince that collars and leashes are okay. He'd had little handling prior to this, from the limited amount of knowledge we have about him, so we are happy to be able to help him become more social and outgoing. He is fine with other dogs and seems to be non-judgemental about cats in general. He played with puppies and was quite appropriate in his "favorite uncle" role! He will most likely move to a home with fewer issues than many of the shelter dogs, and we hope he can be a good example to the others in that same home setting: you aren't going to die just because we ask you to wear a collar! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Four years old, not well socialized, and had no clue about a leash and collar when she was brought to the shelter, from a family who gave up five of their dogs to the shelter due to personal illness. Blooper is needy as far as not having any confidence or skills navigating a home or a family around her, as she was kept outside. She has done fairly well learning that food is always abundant in her foster home, and the children in the family are learning that slow and steady is the best course to take around her.
