Tony is an 810 month old Aussie/Border Collie mix with all the brains, energy, and enthusiasm youd expect from two incredible herding breeds. He is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to run and play with. Hes curious about cats and would do best with slow introductions and supervision. Because of his strong herding instincts, he is very focused on livestock, and his previous shelter recommends a home without chickens. Tony is a smart, athletic young dog who loves to run, play, and stay busy. He thrives with activity and mental stimulation and would be an excellent companion for an active family. With his intelligence and drive, he would also be a fantastic candidate for dog sports such as agility, flyball, disc, or obedience. If youre looking for a fun, energetic, and devoted partner to share adventures with, Tony may be the perfect match! Adoption fees are $350 unless otherwise stated. Senior dog adoption fees are $200. 100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. He has been worked with for over a year on walking on leash, riding in car, playing with other dogs and taking treats like a gentleman ! He has come a long way and is now ready to be adopted..he is a perfect medium size dog with a beautiful red and white coat. His DNA was done recently and it came back that he was Australian Sheppard / Beagle / with a splash of several other dogs..He is eager to learn and just wants someone who can have patience with him to get him finished up with his basic commands...Please help Bucky find his forever home !!
