Story
This sweet boy, Storm, was found as a stray. The rescuer is unable to keep him due to no fault of Storm. He is located in the Richmond, VA area and would love to leave his current kennel life as soon as possible! He has tons of energy and you can imagine what living in a kennel is doing to his spirits. A little about Storm (besides being a handsome fellow). He is around 2-3 yrs old, and 35 lbs. Maybe a BC/Aussie mix & is deaf. He will attach himself to visitors and just soaks in the attention. Not used to leash walking, but is catching on pretty quickly. Needs a secure fenced yard, he would be in such danger if allowed to roam or be off leash, due to his hearing loss. He is very attentive to looking for guidance from a caretaker. Storm gets along with other dogs, no testing with cats. Is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered If interested please contact moyasafin2004@yahoo.com or you can fill out an application below.

Story
Sadie came to us from a shelter in Macon Georgia. She was picked up as a stray. We believe she is an Aussie/BC mixed breed of sorts. We believe she is approximately 2 years old. Shortly after we took her into our rescue, we found out she was pregnant. She ended up having the puppies in July. They are a mixed breed of a little of this, a little of that, and a whole lot of cuteness! She was a wonderful mom, her puppies are now old enough for adoption, so now it’s her turn to find a forever home. Sadie comes fully vetted, on HW prevention, microchipped, and she is now spayed. She weighs about 42 pounds. She would do well in any setting if there were no cats or chickens. She does not care for them at all! She does well with children, walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She has a very sweet and kind personality. She is crate trained but I find it isn’t necessary because she is a very well-behaved girl. I just leave the crate door open with a bed in it and one out in her room. When she first came into foster care, she didn’t like the other dogs. That was probably the pregnancy. With that behind her now she has been doing well with my female Brittany. I believe with proper introduction she will thrive with a playmate. As for playtime...she loves playing with her toys, chew bones and her puppies. She has been fostered in the country, so she is used to all types of livestock. Sadie can jump fences, so she will need a secured fenced yard to play and to burn that energy. No underground fencing. Sadie is being fostered in VA Beach. If you would like more information about Sadie, you can email hallhavenfarm@gmail.com or you can apply to adopt at www.arcbcr.org

Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 27, 2025, 10:05 pm
