Meet Skye – Your Loyal, Sensitive Adventure Buddy &#239&#184&#143Skye is a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd with a gentle soul, a brilliant mind, and a heart that bonds deeply with her person. She’s a shy, sweet, and attentive girl who blossoms into a wonderfully devoted companion once she feels safe.Skye's favorite pastime? Playing fetch with her beloved tennis ball, followed by a cozy hangout with her human. At this stage in her life, she enjoys a balanced routine - daily walks, some ball-chasing fun, and the mental challenge of treat puzzles keep her happy and fulfilled. She's medium-energy, agile, smart, and always up for an adventure as long as she's with someone she trusts.Skye is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and an excellent leash walker. She's responsive to commands like leave it and focus, and she tries hard to make good choices, especially when she's feeling nervous. She takes daily Fluoxetine to help manage her anxiety, which has been beneficial for her. While she's not destructive when left alone, Skye truly prefers companionship and does best with someone who is home often. She is sensitive and protective of her space - quick movements or unfamiliar guests can make her anxious, and she may try to 'herd' people by nipping at heels. Because of this, a quieter home without young children or frequent visitors would be ideal. Skye can coexist with other calm dogs and cats, though she tends to keep to herself and prefers slow introductions. A yard would be a wonderful bonus for her.Skye's perfect match is someone patient, gentle, and understanding - someone who appreciates her quirks, respects her boundaries, and celebrates her incredible loyalty and intelligence. With the right person, she is affectionate, playful, deeply connected, and wonderfully sassy in all the best ways.If you're looking for a smart, soulful companion who will adore you endlessly and join you on meaningful adventures, Skye may be your perfect match. &#239&#184&#143Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $100. This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Meet Benny! Looking for a brilliant best friend? This 6-month-old Border Collie/Aussie mix is as smart as he is sweet! Weighing in at about 25 lbs, Benny is the perfect blend of brains, heart, and playful puppy energy. Benny is a very smart dog, already crate-trained , almost completing house-training, and already knows “sit” and “shake”! He gets along well with other dogs but will chase cats. True to his herding-dog roots, Benny thrives on mental and physical fun. He loves playing fetch, playing with other dogs, learning new tricks with treats! The world is still a scary place for him and he is sensitive to loud noises and scared of walking nearby moving vehicles. He's looking for a family that understands his needs and is excited to continue his training with positive reinforcement. He could be little shy about meeting new people at first, but he warms up with patience and kindness—then his affectionate side shines through. Once he trusts you, he’s a world-class cuddler who bonds deeply with his people. He has medium energy and would love a yard where he can run, play, and stretch those long legs. He’s great with other dogs—his puppy enthusiasm can be a bit much for some, but a playful canine companion could be a perfect match. Bonus! Benny’s adoption includes two free training sessions with Clementine Dog Training, to help set him (and you!) up for success as he continues learning and growing. Benny would do best with: - A patient family familiar with herding breeds who can help him build confidence - Someone excited to continue positive reinforcement training and enrichment - A home with a yard for playtime - Potentially another playful, compatible dog If you’re looking for a smart, loyal companion to grow with, Benny is your boy! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. His adoption fee is $200. Pepper comes from an elderly couple so she is very used to being indoors and is pretty chill inside.I kennel her at night and she does really well during the day in the house. We can leave her while we are at school/work and she has never chewed up or destroyed anything. She does well with other dogs. I had a mini dachshund that was old and she was fine with her. my boyfriend had a German Shepherd male who she also got along with really well and most dogs at the dog park. I have been working with her on leash but she is still a little reactive. I do notthink she got out much within her previous home so she is anxious and fearful at times. She loves walks, fetch, bones, ropes/tug of war, pets and; treats. She is good in the kennel and house. Shes obedient, knows her name, come, leave it, wait, sit, heel, break, and more she learns quickly. She doesnt do well in the car, she barks. Sometimes reactive on leash. Barks at the door when theres a knock.

Story
My husband & I purchased Noah from a guy who lived across the street from us. His brother breeds Australian Shepherds and Noah and his sister were the only ones left. We usually adopt but Noah and his sister kept escaping his backyard. So we were afraid they’d get hit by a car. So we bought them. They’re both 5 years old. My husband & I are getting divorced and I have moved out of our house. I am living with my sister and cannot have them live with me as my nephew & brother in law are allergic to dogs. My husband hits Noah and his sister when he’s angry or they do something he doesn’t like. I want them to have a home where they’re not scared all the time and don’t get hit. They would do best in a home where the owners live an active lifestyle. Their breed needs lots of exercise. So if you hike, run, or anything active they would be excellent companions. I would prefer they be adopted together as they’ve been together all their lives. Her name is Sophie.

Meet Buttercup — a smart, sweet, and sensitive girl ready for her perfect home!Buttercup is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix weighing just 27 lbs, and she’s the perfect combination of sweetness, intelligence, and playful energy. She may start out very shy when meeting new people or entering new environments, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. When Buttercup trusts you, she really loves you. This girl is still young and full of puppy energy. She has high exercise needs and thrives on daily walks, play sessions, training, and mental challenges. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with other playful dogs, and she’d be thrilled to have a canine buddy in her new home. She is still learning to read cues from dogs who aren’t interested in playing right away, so continued socialization will help her understand those boundaries as she matures.Buttercup is crate trained, house trained, and learning her leash manners—she doesn’t pull, but she’s still working on confidence while out and about. She’s incredibly smart and eager to please, making training both fun and rewarding. She’s very treat-motivated and loves having a “job” to do. She will need continued training to help with manners (she’s been known to hop onto tables or counters if food is present!), but she learns quickly with guidance. She’s good with other dogs, great with patient kids who allow her time to warm up, and while her experience with cats is unknown, her instinct will likely be to play or chase. Buttercup’s perfect family will be active, committed to ongoing training, and excited to provide her with enrichment and structure. Another dog would be a bonus, but the most important thing is a family who will nurture her confidence and give her the stimulation she needs to thrive. Her adorable looks, her gentle sweetness, and the way she blossoms once she trusts you will have you saying 'as you wish.' If you’re looking for a sweet, bright, eager young dog who will adore you endlessly, Buttercup may be your true love.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pet’s Story: His owner in Utah recently passed away, and he lost the person he loved most. He is only 4 years old and one of the smartest dogs I have ever met. He is very well trained, highly intelligent, and loves training, mental games, outdoor walks, and attention. He is deeply attached to people, wonderful with children, good with cats, and has lived indoors in a loving home. Outside, he can be cautious with other dogs but may adapt with time and proper introductions. He is sensitive, not aggressive. This is urgent, as without a new home soon, he may be taken to a shelter. He is looking for a loving family to call home again. He has had two owners in his life and becomes very sad and emotionally affected when he has no stable home. He bonds deeply with his people and truly needs to belong to a family.
