Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Rico is an independent boy with would do best with a dog savvy adopter that has breed experience. He does not seem to be a fan of the other animals here at the shelter. He does know the sit and shake commands. Rico does have a mild bite history and any potential adopter will need to sign a bite disclosure. Weighs 41 pounds, $25 to adopt

Story
Ahsoka, or Soka for short, is a fun, energetic dog. She is a beautiful dog with different colored eyes and cute corgi like ears. The previous owner was not sure on her breed but thought she was a mix of Australian shepherd, border collie and corgi. She definitely has the herding dog personality. She loves to be outside and enjoys laying in the sun. She does respond well to commands and knows how to sit, lay down, shake, stay and come. She rarely barks unless someone comes to the door. She is house trained but sometimes can't hold her bladder for longer periods. She is good with kids but will get anxious and "herd them" if they are running and nip. She is also kennel trained and listens well when you tell her to go to her kennel. Overall she is a wonderful dog. She does have some aggression towards other dogs which seems to be hit or miss. She might do best in a home without other dogs. She is scared of some men, especially if they are wearing a hat. We believe she is a year old.

Story
Winston is 8 yrs old (April 19, 2016). 55 lbs. Winston is loyal, kind, and protects his people. He is active and likes exercise. He hates sirens from first responders. He is wary of children and strangers. Winston is reactive, including leash reactive. We have had him since he was 7-8 weeks old. No history of health issues. Since recent life changes, it has been difficult providing the time, exercise, and love he deserves. Winston is an amazing dog and we love him so much. He would thrive in a single dog home for attention purposes. He does well with most dogs off leash. He has not been around cats.
