Story
This cutie is Mikey Mayo. He is currently 4 pounds, 2 months old, and we think they may be an Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/V22raTjRGrE?feature=shared Mikey Mayo is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. No toy is too big for this little man. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Mikey is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Story
This beautiful and polite lady is named Fiona. Fiona is looking for a family, and would do well in a hectic home with kids, a peaceful apartment with a first time dog owner, or anything in between. She’s a true comfort dog, a wonderfully versatile girl that enjoys her time in nature and has great house manners. She’s cat tolerant too, she’s the complete package and she’s available for adoption! We think Fiona is an Australian Cattle Dog, Shepherd, Husky mix of some sort, with her gorgeous silvery blue coat and her tall stand-up ears. We estimate her age to be around 4 years old. She currently weighs in at a soft and snuggly 53 lbs. Watch Fiona here: https://youtu.be/DQ_ihW5lU2Y?si=Z0MlLniHhBHngUEN Fiona is currently fostered in a home with a hyperactive pug, who she tolerates beautifully, and two kitties that she almost completely ignores. Here at the rescue, Fiona was cat tested and we believe her to be cat tolerant. See her cat test for yourself in her video. Fiona is wonderful with other dogs, but doesn’t ask for too much canine engagement or play. We think she would do best in a home with an aloof male, that won’t engage her too much, to keep her company. She could also thrive as a solo dog, soaking up all of your affection for herself. Fiona is great on leash and takes direction well. She’s also great at completely settling outdoors, just watching the world pass her by. She’s wonderful in the car and loads and unloads on her own. All of these factors, together, make her a wonderful candidate for a camping companion. She’s not overly energetic, but loves her walks, and could likely be convinced to go on a hike with you too! Fiona’s foster mom walks her almost every day in her neighborhood, and Fiona often interacts with children on these walks. Her foster mom reports that she’s a gentle and sweet angel with all of the children she meets. Fiona is affectionate and loves belly rubs and full body hugs! She’s treat motivated, and takes treats gently. She does well in her crate, though her foster mom does trust her to free roam in the house! She very much sees her crate as her “safe space” and will retreat to her crate when she feels overwhelmed by her doggy foster brother. Fiona is just such a polite and well mannered girl, looking for forever love. We are willing to test Fiona with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67042fe9339efbc41f037de9 We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is 825.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Introducing Jazz! 🎉 A charming one-year-old dog in search of her forever home. Jazz is a sweet and gentle girl who loves to explore and play in ponds. 🌊 Her love for playing in the pond makes her a great companion for trips to the lake or beach! Jazz absolutely adores kids, though her bouncy nature means she’d do best in a home with children aged 6 and up. She also dreams of having a doggy friend to play with! Her favourite game is fetch with the ball, and she delights in chewing on her Nu-bones. 🎾🦴 When meeting new people and dogs, Jazz approaches with curiosity and a calm demeanor. While she might be a bit reserved at first, she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. Jazz interacts well with other dogs, showing playful interest after an initial period of adjustment. On the leash, Jazz does well but would benefit from additional training to build her confidence and improve her skills. She’s a fast learner and very treat-motivated, so she'll be a pro in no time. 🐾 Jazz is curious about cats but doesn’t seem overly fixated on them, demonstrating a respectful interest rather than any aggressive tendencies. She could live in a home with a dog-savvy cat! 🐱 This young dog is still learning about the world around her, and a patient, loving home would be ideal to help her continue to grow and thrive. If you’re ready to give Jazz the space and care she needs, she’s sure to reward you with loyalty and affection. 💖 Adoption link https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66a7ba7d8d8cc5f9e4057063 Questions? Story
Looking for a wonderful family dog, an unending source of laughter and affection? That’s Keelee, and she’s ready for her forever family! She is dog friendly, cat tolerant and kid friendly, the perfect fit for just about any animal lovers home! Keelee absolutely adores kids- she would love to be the “my first rescue dog” that your kids talk about for the rest of their lives. Keelee is around one and a half years old, and we believe her to be an Australian Shepherd, Rat Terrier mix. She is a rescue, so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Keelee weighs in at a snuggly 37 pounds. Watch Keelee here: https://youtu.be/WmWoCOWNiRE?si=8JwE3bQ9EpLaWaXO Keelee is the life of the doggy party, an enthusiastic player that greets every dog in the yard, encouraging them to play. She’s so dog friendly, and she has this adorable rowdy rompy playstyle. However- the second she’s around children a switch flips, and she becomes a totally different dog. She’s mellow, gentle and docile with little ones, sooo patient and tolerant. We watched Keelee interact with a 6 year old and a 9 year old, and she was amazing. See for yourself in her video! Her six year old friend even accidentally hit her with a Lego bucket, and she didn’t growl, bark or react at all! She has seriously impressive social skills with kids. With kitties, Keelee is a little more playful than she maybe should be. She is cat-tolerant, but we will warn you that she did play-bow at our house cat Tom. If Keelee will live with cats, they need to be dog-savvy cats that understand how to evade or correct canine play. See Keelee’s cat test in her video. Keelee is friendly and sweet with every new human she meets. She’s more aloof when she’s outdoors, paying closer attention to her surroundings and any dogs she may be able to play with. Indoors, Keelee is a warm and sweet dog, and frequently approaches for affection. Keelee is currently fostered in a home alongside small dogs and caged birds, and she does great with both! Keelee’s foster parents are seniors, who absolutely adore her. Her foster mom reports that while she doesn’t like the car, she does fairly well in the car. She says that Keelee is a high energy dog that “runs like lightning” in the back yard, but is quiet and mellow indoors. She describes Keelee as a really good dog, a lap dog, and a happy girl. She is not a barker, and she’s good in her crate. Keelee’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to call her own, but she’s not too picky about the rest. She would do well in just about any animal lover’s home, and would adore having some kids running around. She does hope that you’ll keep your freezer full of ice for her to chomp on, and she would prefer a doggy playmate in her home if possible. Keelee is an absolute dream, a beautiful and truly amazing dog! Apply to adopt this sweet girl today, she’s waited far too long to meet her forever family already. We are willing to test her with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Meet Mosaic! Mosaic, who is nicknamed Mosey by her foster family. is not quite 12 pounds, almost 3 months old, and we think she may be an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Mosey's video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/Si7KTMo3d9M?si=WR8P3QozTv2jkgNI Mosey is a precious, soft, little sweet baby ready for a family. She was rescued along with her mom who is a black lab approximately 60 pounds. We do not know what the daddy is so her breed is a mystery. She is so soft and cute! Sweet Mosey has a very gentle and affectionate personality and loves to play with her foster siblings. Of course, she will need patience as she learns the ropes with potty training, crate training, and all of the normal puppy things. In the meantime, Mosey will be eating, sleeping, playing, and repeating - such is puppy life! A puppy is discovering their personality with each passing day. We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving into their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! As a nonprofit dog and cat rescue, we work hand in hand with the community to combat this crisis. Our goal is simple: to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing dogs and cats of all breeds from the streets or overcrowded shelters, where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Your interest and support mean the world to us and to the animals we serve. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission to give every animal a chance at a happy and loving home! Our rescue is dedicated to making a difference.
