Story
JIM | 8 weeks old approx | 9 lb and growing | Toronto area Jim has been nicknamed "Sweet Potato" as it describes his personality to a tee. He is full of love and cuddles and is simply a ball of mush. Jim is a sensitive pup and he loves affection as much as he loves his food. He is a smart boy and at 8 weeks of age is already pee pad trained and wanting nothing more than to please his people. Jim would love nothing more than a family who are going to love him as much as he will love them. Puppies are a lot of work, and need families that will invest in training and commit to them and their needs. Please don't apply unless you're willing to commit to Jim and his training needs. Jim's neuter will be included with his adoption. Application is available here: https://form.jotform.com/pawsacrossthewater/adoption-application

Chase comes from Toronto Humane Society, he has anxiety and some PTSD as he lived on the street prior to our adoption. He has been on Prozac for a while and takes Trazodone when necessary. He is very affectionate but not friendly with another animals, especially dogs. He is nose sensitive as well. We tried to train him but unsuccessfully. He need constant company, not good left alone. He is 5 years hold and pretty well trained, except if left alone.

Story
Benji / Neutered Male / 8 months / 25lbs / Aussie x Poodle (supposedly) / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Untested / Kids : Yes Remember Benji? He’s had all getting completed and some time to get to know him, he’s officially available for adoption! Benji is a playful and curious 8-month old Aussie mix, who is ready to find his forever home! Benji is a smart and energetic boy who loves to chew, play with squeaky toys, and run around. He's highly food motivated, which makes training super easy. Benji takes a little time to warm up to new people, especially men, so he needs a patient and gentle person to help him trust. He'd thrive in an active family who loves the outdoors and can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Benji is house trained, crate trained, and loves going for car rides, where he'll curl up in his blanket and snooze, rarely even bothering to take a gander out the window. While he can be a bit anxious in new situations, with slow introductions and positive reinforcement, he'll learn to navigate new environments confidently. Benji has been great with kids, and the few dogs he has met, but he is untested with cats and with his squirrel prey drive being high, not sure he’s a good candidate for a home with feline friends. Benji is a super fun, and loving pup. He would love a home where someone is home more often than not. Benji is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. He is currently being fostered in Trenton. Apply to adopt! https://forms.gle/PQczq8MXueSSfYhE9

Story
Winter is a loving and loyal dog, a Chow and Australian Shepherd mix. She adores being petted and enjoys playing, although she’s not much into chasing balls or toys unless it’s indoors. Winter is incredibly attached to her family and always wants to stay close. She’s particular about her bathroom habits, only going on grass, never on concrete. True to her Chow heritage, Winter tends to bark at anyone who passes by the house, making her an excellent watchdog. She’s also good with cats and is very friendly with visitors, as long as you let her sniff you first. Despite her initial caution, she’s a gentle and affectionate companion. Winter has grown up with my kids over the past three years and is wonderful with children, including my son’s friends when they visit. She enjoys sniffing other dogs and playing or chasing them in the dog park to play, but if she’s not in the mood, she’ll simply ignore them. All in all, Winter is a wonderful family dog with a big heart.
