Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. Story
Sweet Skye Man has come to us as one of three Aussie mix older pups that are still impressionably young at just 8 months and 19 pounds. This handsome, yet shy boy, is looking for a family that will fill his soul with love and affirmation and confidence building lessons every day. He and his siblings were raised in an outdoor kennel with little to no love and attention. They were merely fed, but yet eventually were released to our Critter Cavalry Rescue foster mom.  Skye Man  is a sponge for life lessons and he is so receptive to human touch and love.  He is the smaller pup from his litter of three that we have in our care now. He is comfortable in a crate, but needs leash training.  There's so many exciting experiences and a wonderful family waiting for him out there. All he needs to have is the moment he is discovered and someone contacts Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to ask if they can adopt him. We know that day is coming soon. He is fully vetted and neutered and ready to hop on the van to the home in the Northeast region or to just merely meet a new family in Tennessee where he resides currently. Critter Cavalry Rescue it's so excited to show the world this very special red heeler mix boy named Ace. He is approximately 36 lb. 5-6 month old Aussie/red ,Heeler mix and has been in a very small town shelter for over 2 months with his two siblings. This boy is so very sweet and happy and handsome and smart. We are looking for a home that will appreciate the intelligence and devotion of the Heeler and Australian Shepherd breed.   Don't let what you read about herding breeds influence you to think they are at top speed all the time. They do love their exercise and energy, but they are cuddlers, snugglers, chill by your feet and wanting to learn. They are good with children and do make excellent hiking and running companions. Up for adventure at all times, this boy is not shy and does not have any emotional damage right now. This boy is a handsome young 18 month, 45 lbs. bobtail  Australian Shepherd called Ruger that needs an Aussie savvy home!  As you can see he has an outgoing smile and has so much personality and the ability to get along with everyone.  He has a happy and winning temperament and we were baffled at how he landed in the small TN shelter we took him from. Meet our new Critter Cavalry beauty, Amazing Astrid! She is a 6 month old, purebred, Australian Shepherd girl who weighs 30 lbs and is seeking an Australian Shepherd savvy family with a fenced yard. She thought she had found her fur-ever home, but it didn't go as planned. Her parents were older and they wanted to get an Aussie puppy after their last one passed away from old age.  Unfortunately Astrid had quite a bit more energy than they could handle. What is even more unfortunate is that she accidentally got under her human mom's feet and caused her to fall, breaking her arm in three places. It was soon apparent that they were not suited at their age for such a young and vibrant puppy. They lovingly released her to Critter Cavalry foster care and we are now seeking a younger more appropriate family and home. She was on a farm with chickens, ducks, and goats and does well with all of them. She also gets along with cats, other dogs, and children. Her Foster's children have fallen in love with her, the 5 year old declared, 'She is the best dog I have ever met.' Story
Introducing Comet in Mooresville, NC- a beautiful red tri Aussie and the absolute best boy! Comet will be 8 years old on Dec. 21st and comes to rescue due to a military deployment and change in living arrangements. He weighs about 45 pounds and is an all around great pup that is HIGH Velcro! Comet would love nothing more than for you to love on him and pet him as much as possible 😊 He is well behaved with good leash and meal time manners. He takes treats gently and loves to play with toys and go for long walks. Comet is being fostered with 3 dogs and would not mind a canine companion although it is not necessary as he would be perfectly content to be the center of your universe! Comet can be playful and enjoys toys and even playing ball sometimes. His wish list includes a fenced yard but someone who takes him on long walks daily would make him very happy. He does have a prey drive (he thinks the parrot may be the most interesting squeaky toy he has ever seen) but he is easily redirected. He has not been cat tested so a kitty free home may be recommended. Comet is potty trained and has not had any accidents (we take him out at least 4 times a day). He is an early riser and needs to go out at 6:45am. He will gently wake you with his nose or you may just feel him staring at you. Comet will go into his crate (we give him a treat to sweeten the deal) but we have found him to be quite content to lay around the house and not destructive so we leave him out almost all the time. If you are looking for a companion to share long walks, hang out with and love on, Comet may be the boy for you. He has so much love to give and deserves his furever family! Comet is fostered in Mooresville, NC and a meet in greet will be required. Due to his size and enthusiasm, we recommend homes with children over 12. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
