Story
We purchased Ruby as a puppy from a local breeder in October, 2022. She was born in August, 2022. She was a great addition to our family and gets along very well with our senior male dog. Since then, our careers have taken a drastic turn and we have not been able to give her the love and attention she deserves. Ruby loves to play fetch, go outside and run, and she loves attention. She is very intelligent and listens well. She is house trained and crate trained. She does bark any time people enter our home but calms down after a few minutes. She is great with children and could be a fantastic companion to someone. We are hoping to find a good, loving home for her. Preferably someone who can spend time with and play with her, who has time to go out in the yard and toss her a ball.

Story
Sioban (Zha-vahn) is almost 2 years old, looks like an Australian Shepherd with a gorgeous blond and white coat. She weighs 25 pounds, which is a good weight for her. Siobhan is skittish and nervous and should be considered a flight risk. Either a secure fence or a commitment to leash walking is strongly recommended. Because of how nervous she is, we do not recommend a home with young children. They move to unpredictably for her to be comfortable. Siobhan is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and her adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay and microchip.

Story
Looking for a BETTER place for our 6-Year-Old Black Tri-color Australian Shepherd. He is a very smart and cuddly dog who loves to play fetch. We are heartbroken to even consider rehoming him, but his reactivity has turned into aggression because he is in the wrong environment (trucks, bikes, kids, strollers..) We went to many trainers and a certified behavior specialist who strongly advised against keeping him because he can’t be trusted around children. If there is anyone in a remote area without children, male dogs or cats please reach out.

Meet Yoshi, who comes to us from the community. He is a 2-year-old, 53 lb., Australian Shepherd. He is very sweet and gets along with other dogs. Yoshi came from an owner who allowed him to live in the basement with his sister and a doggie door so has had little interaction. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Yoshi is also both crate and housetrained. He would love to find a forever home to be loved and live comfortably in. If you are interested in meeting Yoshi, please send us your email address to obtain an adoption application.

Story
Introducing Comet in Mooresville, NC- a beautiful red tri Aussie and the absolute best boy! Comet will be 8 years old on Dec. 21st and comes to rescue due to a military deployment and change in living arrangements. He weighs about 45 pounds and is an all around great pup that is HIGH Velcro! Comet would love nothing more than for you to love on him and pet him as much as possible 😊 He is well behaved with good leash and meal time manners. He takes treats gently and loves to play with toys and go for long walks. Comet is being fostered with 3 dogs and would not mind a canine companion although it is not necessary as he would be perfectly content to be the center of your universe! Comet can be playful and enjoys toys and even playing ball sometimes. His wish list includes a fenced yard but someone who takes him on long walks daily would make him very happy. He does have a prey drive (he thinks the parrot may be the most interesting squeaky toy he has ever seen) but he is easily redirected. He has not been cat tested so a kitty free home may be recommended. Comet is potty trained and has not had any accidents (we take him out at least 4 times a day). He is an early riser and needs to go out at 6:45am. He will gently wake you with his nose or you may just feel him staring at you. Comet will go into his crate (we give him a treat to sweeten the deal) but we have found him to be quite content to lay around the house and not destructive so we leave him out almost all the time. If you are looking for a companion to share long walks, hang out with and love on, Comet may be the boy for you. He has so much love to give and deserves his furever family! Comet is fostered in Mooresville, NC and a meet in greet will be required. Due to his size and enthusiasm, we recommend homes with children over 12. Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoptions There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Nature: Baxter loves his pack! He is busy running and playing all day. He checks in for love and a quick pet but can't stay long because his other dog friends need him. Baxter will take time to adjust to a new home. But if you work to see the world through Baxter's eyes and don't get frustrated because he doesn't care to see the world through your eyes, he will accept you. Eventually. www.leroysranchhands.com

Story
Need for Space: Sgt. Pepper deserves ample space to run around and play. My current living situation limits his ability to explore and enjoy the outdoors as much as he should. Friendly Nature: He is an extremely friendly dog, and I believe he would thrive in a loving home where he can interact with people and other pets. Family Compatibility: adores children and would do well in a family environment where he can be a cherished companion. Sociability with Other Animals: He gets along well with other dogs and animals, making him a great addition to a home with multiple pets. Unique Personality: Named after the Beatles album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," he has a vibrant personality that brings joy to everyone around him. Adorable Features: His amazing doggy mustache adds to his charm and personality, and I know it would win the hearts of his new family. Favorite Toys: He has favorite toys that he loves to play with, namely this toy we’ve named “ CeeLo green”
