Story
Winslow is 10 months old medium sized floofy boy! Hi there, I'm Winslow! I'm a young pup full of fun and love. I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard. I am a herding breed of some type, because well I herd. Id love a farm or a doggie friend to stay active I had a rough start to life wiht an owner who left my puppy collar on and it grew into my neck. New things used to make me a bit nervous, but I am overcoming that and my silly side is emerging. I am bit goofy and playful, which makes everyone around me laugh. I'm also smart and quick to learn new tricks.I love to take walks now and I am so good with other dogs rescue mommy has me working testing the new dogs coming into rescue. I'm loyal and friendly, always ready to make new friends. Adopting me means gaining a funny, loyal, and energetic companion who will always be there for you! All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Story
A few years ago,I purchased this dog from a reputable breeder when I was separated from my husband. We reunited a few years ago and now have two toddlers and another one on the way. Kaylee has always been a very loving and loyal dog. However, with each child introduction, she has proved she is not a fan of being around small children. Whoever takes her in and shows her love will have a friend for the rest of her life.

Story
This is what I had on the rehoming pages…. Hi Friends! Please meet Teddy! We rescued him in May. Unfortunately his family gave him up do military and moving overseas. He is a very lovable pup who loves cuddles and pets. He very much has to be the center of attention. Unfortunately, we are looking to rehome him due to the fact he is not great with young kids especially toddlers and new borns. Our second baby is due in February. Young children stress him out and it’s not a right fit for us.He has never bit anyone but he is clearly not okay with being the presence of young children. Trained: Yes, follows commands and almost off leash trained Teddy Loves: Running and playing frisbee Great with other animals like cats and other dogs Loves to eat food scraps, water, biting water and chasing flies. Loves car rides and cuddles Great with adults and older kids Dislikes: delivery drivers, vacuums/blow dryers, and mops. Tolerates young kids in waves. Gets stressed at boarders

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Wade, NC Meet Theo! He is an handsome 6 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, but isn’t up to date on shots or on heartworm prevention. Theo is nervous around strangers, but warms up after a while! He is good with older children, farm animals, and dogs! No younger children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Kennels and confined spaces scare Theo. However, he is great when left alone to hang out in the house! He is a medium energy Aussie with an off-switch. His owner said that he can be protective and bark while on walks whenever they pass strangers or other dogs. He settles down once they are no longer near them! Theo also loves to cuddle and knows several commands! The owner is surrendering him because they are expecting a baby and Theo doesn’t do well with younger children. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Theo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Theo. Owner’s Contact Information: Skyler at skybug21@gmail.com.

Story
Calvin is very friendly and has so much love and care. He’s also able to easily adjust to his surroundings. Never been aggressive with people or other dogs. He hasn’t been around cats before so I’m not 100% sure how well he is around them but I don’t think it’d be an issue. He loves to play with dogs and can easily get his energy out but also enjoys cuddling, rubs, and treats of course. He is also a good listener as long as he doesn’t have too many distractions around. Calvin is also trained to know commands. He’s never used the bathroom in the apartment or in a house so he’s very well trained with holding his bladder. I’m currently only able to take him out in the morning before work which is around 8:30am and I get back home at 6pm so he can manage holding it for hours if it’s needed. I just have a busy schedule and want to give him to someone that has more time with him. He deserves the absolute best and I want to provide that for him.

Story
Koda is a smart, energetic 9-month-old Aussie pup! He is a good boy at heart and adapts really well to change. He's now in a foster home with 3 other dogs (all over 50lbs) and loves to run and play with them. He really enjoys water, and will not hesitate to jump into the shower with you! . His foster mom is working really hard on his crate training. He may have been left crated and made to use the bathroom in the crate--he did not understand that he should pee or poop on walks. Recently, he has had no accidents in his cage, and has begun using walks as well as reusable pee pads on the back porch. Koda is definitely a work in progress, but he has so much potential. He would do best in a home that understands Aussies, and has the time to keep him active and busy. He’s great around kids and loves to meet new people! Story
Dog Day Out, 7/27/24:Rocky was great today. He is a super friendly and sweet dog. I had initially wanted to see how he would do in a more relaxed environment instead of just taking him on a hike. Let me start by saying that Rocky is one of the sweetest dogs I`ve been around. He`s super relaxed once we gets to know you and you`ll notice a demeanor change once he`s warmed up to you! He`s a huge snuggle bug and was perfectly content with laying on my wood floor while I laid on the sofa. We had some lunch and Rocky did not beg and went to lay down, not paying much mind to the food we had. He is super sweet and he walks okay on the leash but there`s room for improvement. I would adopt this dog if my family member was not allergic. He is great! Foster notes, 6/1/24:Rocky is such a sweet pup! It definitely took him some time to come out of his shell and warm up to everyone. It took him longer to get comfortable with my husband than myself. He has been great with our 3 and 6 year old kids--he`s not bothered by them at all. A weird thing we learned is that he can walk UP stairs, but he is afraid to walk back DOWN them... It`s possible that this is because our stairs are narrow and hardwood, but he wouldn`t go near them and eventually had to be carried down. He`s very laid back about eating--just sort of grazes and has no food aggression. He lets you know when he needs to go out to potty. Mostly he follows me from room to room and just lays near wherever I am. He doesn`t bark at all, is very relaxed, but always seems down for an outing! At first, he didn`t seem to know any commands or even respond very well to his name. But once he got more comfortable and I got some treats, he seemed to know the drill. I haven`t tried to do too many commands, but we are going to keep working on it. He walks well on a leash. He doesn`t pull at all, but I don`t think he has a lot of practice with it because he doesn`t have leash awareness--he walks on the opposite side of poles or wraps himself or others up, etc. We have just been doing a once a day around the block walk and will hopefully get better. We left him home alone for just an hour and a half so far and he did fine. He wasn`t happy about us leaving, but didn`t bark or whine. When we got back, he was laying right by the door and nothing was chewed and no accidents. He REALLY doesn`t seem to like water. We wanted to give him a bath and he was not having it, lol!Foster notes, 4/30/24:Rocky is
