Story
Looking for a BETTER place for our 6-Year-Old Black Tri-color Australian Shepherd. He is a very smart and cuddly dog who loves to play fetch. We are heartbroken to even consider rehoming him, but his reactivity has turned into aggression because he is in the wrong environment (trucks, bikes, kids, strollers..) We went to many trainers and a certified behavior specialist who strongly advised against keeping him because he can’t be trusted around children. If there is anyone in a remote area without children, male dogs or cats please reach out.

Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Sweet Skye Man has come to us as one of three Aussie mix older pups that are still impressionably young at just 8 months and 19 pounds. This handsome, yet shy boy, is looking for a family that will fill his soul with love and affirmation and confidence building lessons every day. He and his siblings were raised in an outdoor kennel with little to no love and attention. They were merely fed, but yet eventually were released to our Critter Cavalry Rescue foster mom.  Skye Man  is a sponge for life lessons and he is so receptive to human touch and love.  He is the smaller pup from his litter of three that we have in our care now. He is comfortable in a crate, but needs leash training.  There's so many exciting experiences and a wonderful family waiting for him out there. All he needs to have is the moment he is discovered and someone contacts Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to ask if they can adopt him. We know that day is coming soon. He is fully vetted and neutered and ready to hop on the van to the home in the Northeast region or to just merely meet a new family in Tennessee where he resides currently. If you were interested please email us at the address we just gave.  Be sure to let us know where you live, city and state. We will be quickly responsive.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 12, 2024, 10:09 pm

Story
This handsome boy is called Waylon and he was born July 28th 2023 and is a purebred 42 lbs mini Aussie.  He has been living a charmed life out on some property in Tennessee. His parents have had a turn of events to where they will be traveling constantly in the coming years with their business. They realize how unfair it would be to keep Waylon in constant boarding.  This boy loves to play and run and enjoy the great outdoors. He is not an apartment dog or a townhouse dog. He needs a good size yard or even more than that. He plays well with other dogs, but we don't know how he is with cats.  He knows how to use a doggie door and his house broken and crate trained to sleep inside at night. He can come and go as he pleases but he mostly prefers being outside on the pretty days. He would be wonderful with children 8 years and above.  Waylon came from a very good breeder in the Midwest and is of very high quality lineage.  He will need to be in a family where someone is home off and on quite a bit and maybe also works from home. He would not be a happy dog if kept crated for 8 hours daily.  If you were interested in knowing more about this handsome Mini  Australian Shepherd Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  He is available now.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 7, 2024, 11:04 pm

Story
All we want for Christmas is a new home for this gorgeous pure bred Aussie girl named Paisley.  A kind and precious beauty that is only two years old and weighs 35-40 pounds.   Freshly groomed and ready for adventure new start, this girl. Came from an elderly owner who at eighty three years of age has admitted she really does not need a young active dog to care for.  Admittedly, the breeder never should have adopted an Aussie puppy to an 81 yr old woman.  Two years later the elder 83 yr old  owner is surrendering her pretty gitl to Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a better suited and much younger home. Paisley is indeed a bit bewildered. But she has shown us that she will be the perfect dog for the perfect family that can give her love, attention and a fenced in yard to safely run off any energy.  Paisley.   Loves to go for car rides and is calm and inquisitive as she gazes out the window. She is house broken and crate trained and enjoys the company of other dogs with no anxiety or intimidation.  She easily walks with you on a leash and the groomer said she was very cooperative while being groomed.  paisley will be a wonderful gift to yourself if you were considering a medium, young dog that is well trained and easy to be around.   No issues and no baggage!   Just a perfect and loving girl.  If you are interested in adopting please email critter cavalry rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  She is in the Tennessee area and ready to transport northward any weekend.   Her foster mom is ready to answer any questions!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 16, 2024, 1:54 pm

Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
Acquired my pet through online listing, she is very sweet, very friendly and good with people. she's a big cuddle bug and fairly trained for the most part, granted she's 11 months old. What I mean by that is she does bark at other dogs from time to time because she is nervous, and does love to jump on people but she is completely house trained. The only reason we cant keep her is because honestly we don't have enough space, I live in a one bedroom and the bigger she gets I can just tell she needs a house with a yard and somewhere she can run freely and really be happy and I would rather give her to someone who meets those needs while she is still young. Applicant MUST be a dog lover and have a fenced in yard for her to play in, she is ok with other dogs once she meets them but it may take her a little bit to get used to. Applicant must also be okay with a hyperactive dog. She runs a ton and loves to eat (as do all dogs) and needs plenty of water available at all times.
