Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 16, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Please meet Gordy our extremely handsome and freckled Australian Shepherd pup that we came to help after being passed around from the backyard breeder to a young man who had no time for him and then to us. These poor babies don't deserve the thickness of humans. But they endure and we have caught this boy before he got any older and currently at about 6 months of age and 40 lb He will be neutered and caught up to date on shots and wormed.   He is being loved and taught things and emotionally prepared for a great family. This handsome boy is very easy going, great around cats, other dogs and honestly an all-around genuinely perfect puppy to adopt. He has no issues that are unusual from puppyhood and he has endured the fickleness of humans.  This guy has had people that didn't even crate him when they left for 8 hours to go to work. Guess what he did?. He got into mischief and he chewed and he tore some things up and then they decided they just couldn't have a puppy. He didn't deserve them for sure.  He has endured so very much, but he still  smiles and sits when told and is happy and just wants to love you. If you would like this handsome boy to be yours, then please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 16, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Sweet Skye Man has come to us as one of three Aussie mix older pups that are still impressionably young at just 8 months and 19 pounds. This handsome, yet shy boy, is looking for a family that will fill his soul with love and affirmation and confidence building lessons every day. He and his siblings were raised in an outdoor kennel with little to no love and attention. They were merely fed, but yet eventually were released to our Critter Cavalry Rescue foster mom.  Skye Man  is a sponge for life lessons and he is so receptive to human touch and love.  He is the smaller pup from his litter of three that we have in our care now. He is comfortable in a crate, but needs leash training.  There's so many exciting experiences and a wonderful family waiting for him out there. All he needs to have is the moment he is discovered and someone contacts Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to ask if they can adopt him. We know that day is coming soon. He is fully vetted and neutered and ready to hop on the van to the home in the Northeast region or to just merely meet a new family in Tennessee where he resides currently. If you were interested please email us at the address we just gave.  Be sure to let us know where you live, city and state. We will be quickly responsive.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 16, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Sadie Mae is a really rare find in the rescue world. This beautiful young Aussie/Border Collie mix girl  was found as a stray in Tennessee and is approximately 9 months old and weighing in at 50lbs. Sadie Mae has one of those personalities hat just draws you in to sit and get to know her.   She loves to run and play but also likes following her human foster mom around and to chill by her side.  Sadie Mae is a joy to be around because she just wants to make her human happy and to feel like she is important to Sadie Mae.  This black beauty is loyal, intelligent, funny, playful and just an all around great dog.  She may take a day or two to warm up to her new humans in the future, but after she does, she’ll love you forever.  She needs space to run around and or several walks a day.  Sadie Mae does have a little thing on her right rear foot where she only has 2 of her 5 paw pads left and a missing toe but no broken bones.  We don’t really know what happened but we want to mention that for total transparency.  She limps on it from time to time but the vet said she may do that forever, but no need to be alarmed or do any further vetting to it. Just part of life.   Sadie Mae gets along great with kids and other dogs (not sure about cats).  She’s learning to play with toys, learning to walk on a leash, and starting to respond to simple commands like “sit” “down” and “stay”.  Potty training is coming along and she is almost there.   Sadie loves car rides, toys and bones to chew on.  She deserves a loving home that shows her as much love and she shows.     Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue if you are interested in this girl at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Please mention where you live since she is in Nashville, TN and we also adopt to 11 northern states outside of Tennessee.    We transport to the northeast.
