Story
Max is the sweetest boy. He loves to curl up on his bed and lie in the sun. He enjoys short walks. He has epilepsy, his seizures have been well controlled on medication twice daily. He has arthritis in his hips so he is not as active as he used to be. I am relocating for work and unable to take Max and his sister. I rescued him in 2016. I am very sad to rehome him.

Story
My name is Journey. I have been a loyal dog to my owner since being rescued eight years ago in Raleigh, NC. At first, I was a great companion to my single owner. Then, when my owner became married, I enjoyed the new relationship. A few weeks ago, a new baby was born and now things are too busy here, so I am currently staying with my grandparents. I enjoyed being a great companion. I can be rather independent too. You might find me sitting next to you on the sofa, or more oftentimes not, you may find me resting in a quiet place of the house for a long nap. I do like to go outside a couple of times a day. I like to play once in a while by pulling on a rope toy. I do enjoy going on walks. I don’t like loud noises, such as thunderstorms, or strange sounds. I am not comfortable around other dogs or cats. I answer to most commands and I come when called. I go by Journey, Jay or J. dog. I hope you will consider me as your future companion.

Story
Journey is a 9 year old, neutered, male Aussie mix. He was rescued from a shelter 9 years ago. He has lived in an apartment and currently lives in a house with a fenced in yard. He is an easy dog who is super independent and low maintenance. He loves to go for walks and play tug of war but is happy snuggling up and taking naps. He is older but still has great energy. Looking for a home where he would be the only pet and does not have young children. He is a fantastic dog, extremely intelligent, and has a unique, sassy personality.

Story
🐾Meet Hugh, lovingly called Hughie🐾 We seek someone who can give Hugh the attention and cuddles he deserves. We will help cover his cost of care long term as our priority is to find him the right forever family. Hugh is 75 pounds of pure love and has been a part of our family since he was a puppy. He was the only child for 5 years until he gained two human siblings. Some of his best attributes: is great on walks and runs, really loves to cuddle, is crate-trained, and loves the boarders/day play places. Some of his less-ideal behaviors include eating human food when he can get his paws on it (he is known to counter-surf), whining if he is separated from his humans (except if he is in his crate when you leave), and jumping up to greet people when they visit. Our young daughter is NOT a dog person. The big emotions/anxiety/stress related to this dynamic are just not fair to sweet Hughie and the situation is more than we can handle, sadly. He deserves a peaceful home life!
