Story
Koda is a smart, energetic 9-month-old Aussie pup! He is a good boy at heart and adapts really well to change. He's now in a foster home with 3 other dogs (all over 50lbs) and loves to run and play with them. He really enjoys water, and will not hesitate to jump into the shower with you! . His foster mom is working really hard on his crate training. He may have been left crated and made to use the bathroom in the crate--he did not understand that he should pee or poop on walks. Recently, he has had no accidents in his cage, and has begun using walks as well as reusable pee pads on the back porch. Koda is definitely a work in progress, but he has so much potential. He would do best in a home that understands Aussies, and has the time to keep him active and busy. He’s great around kids and loves to meet new people! There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
