Story
Luke is curious and active. He likes attention and belly rubs. He is super sweet and loyal but needs some training to socialize with other dogs. He is approximately 1yr and 9 months old. He started with me as a foster along with one of his litter mates and I thought I would be able to keep them. It has turned out that I do not have the time to give him the attention he deserves and be consistent about giving him the training that will help him thrive. He is very responsive to training. He loves to run, likes squeaky and hide and seek toys, and has started learning how to play ball but is not super good at it yet. I do not know what shots he has had since I never got the paperwork from the agency that I was fostering him through. If I need to take care of some of these things in order for him to have a good home I am willing to negotiate doing so.

Story
Sweet old Jax is looking for a soft place to land. This gentle senior would make a wonderful partner for someone looking for an easy-going, calm four-legged companion. He`s a big guy with a sensitive soul who is deserving of a caring home that can take him for easy walks and just share quality time together. If you have another dog Jax would like to meet them to see if they`ll be good housemates. Jax is ready to become your faithful friend, to share beautiful sunrises and sunsets together, to be an ear for listening and an all around good pal.

Story
Notes from a volunteer dog walker:Lil Bud is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix , a very handsome nicely sized dog. He was easily leashed from his kennel, a little shy at first, and walked nicely to the play yard. He was friendly through the fence with dog Kiki and playful with dog Prometheus. Lil Bud came up for attention and petting, sitting and taking treats nicely. He is a ‘Dances with Wolves’ kinda guy dancing around, picking up toys. Lil Bud is delightful, sweet and a fun dog!

Story
Meet Turquoise Boy, the canine version of a fine wine that’s only getting better with age! Born as a pure white fluffball, this little guy is now sporting a sprinkle of adorable freckles – talk about a glow-up! He’ll be 8 weeks old on January 18th, and we can’t wait to see what other surprises he has in store. This affectionate puppy is basically a furry heartthrob, always ready to cuddle and shower you with love. If you’re in need of a personal snuggle buddy, look no further! With a mom who tips the scales at about 40 pounds, we’re betting Turquoise Boy might just be a future heavyweight champion of the doggie world, potentially surpassing 60 pounds once he’s all grown up. We’re taking applications right now, but let’s be real—he won't be available for adoption until he’s 8 weeks old. So, if you want to secure your spot in the lineup for the cutest cuddle muffin on the block, don’t wait too long! This charming pup is ready to win hearts – and maybe a spot on your couch! If you're interested in meeting Turquoise Boy, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Turquoise Boy into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
