People not spaying or neutering their dogs! Poor Ivy is only about 9-10 months old when she got pregnant and had 5 puppies. Babies having babies is so sad to see. Ivy is a real sweetheart and still has puppy play energy herself. She loves to go on walks and is an easy going girl who gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She was a good Mom, her babies are now weaned and everyone is ready to go to their own families. Ivy is done with all her Mommy duties and can now enjoy just being with her own family to take care of her. Ivy weighs about 45 pounds. Please help Ivy find the loving home she deserves. *Note: Ivy is scheduled to get spayed on 12/26 and will be available to be adopted on 12/27. We are currently accepting applications in hopes she will be able to go home to her forever family on 12/27! Update: Ivy had tested positive for Lyme's and has already completed her course of antibiotic. She is feeling great and ready to go! ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier. Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home. She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate. She is not leash trained but is trying to improve. We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day. Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her. She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands. Sweet Skye Man has come to us as one of three Aussie mix older pups that are still impressionably young at just 8 months and 19 pounds. This handsome, yet shy boy, is looking for a family that will fill his soul with love and affirmation and confidence building lessons every day. He and his siblings were raised in an outdoor kennel with little to no love and attention. They were merely fed, but yet eventually were released to our Critter Cavalry Rescue foster mom. Skye Man is a sponge for life lessons and he is so receptive to human touch and love. He is the smaller pup from his litter of three that we have in our care now. He is comfortable in a crate, but needs leash training. There's so many exciting experiences and a wonderful family waiting for him out there. Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen. This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences. For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her. She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home. Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out. She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE! She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with. She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge. Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands. Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either. She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show. This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.
