Story
The only things in the upside down are these little cuties when they are rolling over on their backs so you can give them tummy rubs! Meet the Stranger Things litter, Mike, Eleven, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Maxine. These 3 month old cuties were rescued from Marion County and have fluffy fur befitting any 1980s icon. They are so ready to keep the Demogorgons away with their fierce cuddles!
First up is Mike, who seems a bit shy at first but becomes quite playful around his siblings. Mike is an adorable 15 pound Australian Sheperd/Border Collie mix with the face of a Teddy bear. His beautiful coat of black and grey fur is as soft and cuddly as it looks. Mike adores giving kisses and cuddles to his human and doggy friends. He’s playful and gets the zoomies, but he also really appreciates relaxing and having some good old fashioned couch potato time.
His foster family says, "Mike has adapted to his foster home very quickly. He is an active curious 3 month old that enjoys a romp in the yard and walks on a leash. Friendly with everyone, adults and children. Gets along with the dog and cat in the foster home. House training is in progress and he learned where treats are in a short amount of time. He loves playing with toys and eats his meals eagerly. Mike sleeps through the night in his crate and enjoys cuddling on his foster mom or dad’s lap. Mike would love to find a forever home."
Mike would do great in any home with other pets and kids, and he’s simply so ready to find his forever adventure buddies. He can’t wait to watch cult classic movies and hang out with you forever!
Mike is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
