I am very sad to have to post this but Mitzi girl deserves to have the love attention she deserves. My schedule for work has changed and she's crated more than she should be. Mitzi is your typical Australian Shepherd and has very high energy. She just turned a year old on July 2nd of this year and is spayed and up to date on her shots. I would love for her to go to a home that will give her the love and attention that she needs. She loves everyone she meets and gets along well with other dogs. She gets along with cats too but sometimes she doesn't realize that she's bigger than them and plays a little rough. She knows a few commands, sit, paw, other paw and will go directly into her crate when told. She also is housebroken. She loves playing fetch. If you feel that Mitzi is a great fit please message me. I will check vet references. I would prefer her to go to a home that has a fenced in yard. Adoption fee possibly negotiable.

Have experience with an Australian Shepherd? Looking for a canine companion to take for daily walks, hikes or swims? Cat free home? Large, fenced backyard? We adopted Indi in 7/22 (DOB 3/18/2022). She is an active, strong willed dog, dominant and full of personality. She loves to spend her days outside, walking/running the perimeter of our backyard, digging and enjoying her super chewer bark box toys. To help set boundaries and fulfill her good girl potential, Indi completed a four week board and train obedience program with a well respected Middletown dog training program in the spring of 2023. Indi has her sweet moments and we love her very much. We have tried very hard for the past two years to make this work. Unfortunately, we have four cats and she has a very strong prey drive. She has also recently stopped getting along with another dog in our home. As much as this breaks our hearts, we'd love to find a family who can better meet her needs.

This is a Courtesy post for a family in Mount Laurel NJ looking to rehome their dog Misty. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Misty is a 4-year-old spayed 50 lb. Australian Shepherd mix (photos attached). We adopted her during the pandemic, and consequently, early on, she did not have much contact with other people. We are reluctantly surrendering her due to family medical reasons. She is a loving dog and does well in out-of-home environments. While she is not good with smaller dogs, when she is at our son's home, she plays well with his dog, who is a bit larger than her. She is also aggressive with smaller children (nips at them), so I would not recommend a home with any kids younger than teenagers. She plays well at dog parks - she's a bit of a wallflower, but when other dogs indicate they want to play, she often joins in. I always take her to the 50 lb and up section of Swede's Run Park. Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which we don't have. When she visits my son's house, she enjoys running around his fenced yard with his dog.
