People not spaying or neutering their dogs! Poor Ivy is only about 9-10 months old when she got pregnant and had 5 puppies. Babies having babies is so sad to see. Ivy is a real sweetheart and still has puppy play energy herself. She loves to go on walks and is an easy going girl who gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She was a good Mom, her babies are now weaned and everyone is ready to go to their own families. Ivy is done with all her Mommy duties and can now enjoy just being with her own family to take care of her. Ivy weighs about 45 pounds. Please help Ivy find the loving home she deserves. *Note: Ivy is scheduled to get spayed on 12/26 and will be available to be adopted on 12/27. We are currently accepting applications in hopes she will be able to go home to her forever family on 12/27! Update: Ivy had tested positive for Lyme's and has already completed her course of antibiotic. She is feeling great and ready to go! ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area.
