Story
Meet Minnie! This beautiful dog is 4 years old! She is a half Australian shepherd, and half husky/german shepherd mix! She is great with other dogs but not with cats. She is very playful and needs a family who is able to give her lots of time and attention. She is good with children, however she is still learning not to jump. She knows sit, lay down and shake. She loves walks, and being outside even when it is cold! She enjoys chasing squirrels in our yard and loves attention and snuggles. She is a very sweet dog and our kids would love to be able to get updates and potentially even see her occasionally if that is something that her new family is comfortable with.

Story
Hi, I am looking for a loving home for our sweet boy Huxley. He is crate trained, good with other animals, a tad skiddish around loud noises, but overall the sweetest most perfect boy. He is house broken but accidents may occur while he adjusts to his new environment. He loves to play with balls and his stuffed duck and cuddling on the couch. We are so sad we can’t keep him due to a job change and we are hoping to find him a loving home. Thank you! Contact me through this website

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Argo arrived in November 2022 from our friends at the Rescue Network after he was rescued from a Reservation in South Dakota. He is about 3 years old does have a lot of the trademark features of mixed breed dogs from Reservations - "Rezzies", as they are affectionately known in rescue. Like many Rezzies, he could be a mix of cattle dog and German and/or Australian shepherd, just to name a few possible options. He's a handsome and very active dog. He has been vet checked and neutered and his fee is $125. Argo has had some basic training and will require a lot of consistent exercise. This is of the utmost importance in order to keep him well balanced and happy. He is ready for action all the time but gets serious when leashed. He does pretty well on leash walks and loves car rides. He's an affectionate guy, too, who thinks nothing of climbing into a person's lap if he gets the chance. Argo would do best in a home with a large fenced yard. He's not a dog for apartment living. He's looking for an ADULT only, single person home as he tends to bond very closely to his person and becomes quite protective. No cats for him. He's incredibly smart and would be a lot of fun to train! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hutch came to the shelter as a stray on 12/16/2024. We held him for the legal hold time and no one claimed him. We're guessing he could have mini Australian shepherd, poodle, border collie, and maybe some sort of spaniel in his breed mix. Don't hold us to this, however, because we're just not positive. He's a petite young guy who is around a year old. He has been vet checked, neutered, and chipped and his fee is $150. Hutch is a shy guy but is well mannered and enjoys attention. Once he's comfy with people, he's very loving and kind of goofy. He keeps his kennel clean at the shelter. He will need some basic training as he's not too sure about the whole leash thing. He would prefer a somewhat quiet ADULT only home. Teens are okay. Cats are probably a no for him. He has done okay with dogs of similar size but can be a bit reluctant to share attention. He will need some consistent grooming as he does have a somewhat wavy coat. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved.
