Gomez Australin Shepherd mix DOB 7.17.25 Dog friendly Human friendly Kennel trained Up to date on vaccinations Microchipped Gomez if a fun, medium energy puppy who would fit in a wide variety of homes. He's just easy going, loving and smart. He starts every day being picked up and cuddled, then its time for potties and chow! He was brought into rescue with his brother and loves playing outside but comes running when he gets called back in. He goes forwards on the farm with his caregiver and stays nice and close, just like he's asked. We expect him to be around 40 pounds fully grown and to just keep being a happy, well adjusted dog! To meet him, apply at emotionalrescuedogs.org. ##2589200##

Story
BALSAM is a real cuddle bug, climbing on his foster's lap any chance he gets earning him the position of foster-favorite. He is super playful and would be a great match for another playful dog of any size. He also can entertain himself. Check out the videos! Balsam and his siblings were surrendered to PUP because the owner, who lived in a remote area, could not afford the pups and felt she could not find suitable adopters. They said pups were born 9-27-25. The mommy dog is a much loved 30# ‘low rider’ with short legs (pictured). A partner organization agreed to pay for her to be spayed if PUP found homes for the puppies. The owner did a good job of socializing the pups and they arrived in good health. They are well socialized, playful and are enjoying the good life. Balsam looks like he is going to be a lankier than his mommy and we expect he will be in the in the lower end of large breed when he is full grown. We did DNA testing on one little boy from the litter. We suspect there might be 2 daddies in this litter. We did DNA testing on one little boy from the litter and we suspect he had a different daddy from Balsam but this should be at least half right. There were 20 identifiable breeds. Only 3 were in double digits, Australian Cattle Dog 20%, Boxer, 12% and German Shepherd 11%. Under 10% were: husky 7 %, Lab 6% and the rest are under 5%: Border Collie, Chihuahua, Australian Shepherd, Akita, Shih Tzu, Sheltie, Miniature American Shepherd, Malamute, Miniature Pinscher, Miniature Schnauzer, Peruvian Inca Orchid, and Rottweiler, Malamute, Chow Chow, Pit Bull, Cocker Spaniel. When someone asks you what breed, depending on your mood you could say Shih Tzu or Akita or any of the above. The real breed here seems to be cuddles. Balsam seems to laugh at the cold. He happily goes out to play with the other dogs and when they come in he seems disappointed and sometimes spends a bit more time playing by himself before asking to come in. He is doing a very good job of learning house breaking. He is crated for several hours during the work day and over night and keeps his crate clean. He is not fully house broken but he is making good headway. The early months are when puppy learns the social skills needed to be a skilled dog in dealing with other dogs and a good citizen in the human world. Adopters should be committed to getting puppy into lots of new and different human social situations, hearing vacuums, trucks, and rattling garbage cans, meeting people who are clapping, laughing, with hats, tools, bikes and skate boards. AND puppy needs many opportunities to meet and greet dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. Just sharing a home with another dog is not as much doggie socializing as puppy needs. If good canine social skills are not learned and maintained during these early months, it will be very difficult to ever master them. Puppy play dates, trips to the pet store, puppy socialization classes and later, obedience classes are particularly important. If all this doggie time and involvement seems like a good idea, you are up for a puppy! As always, a tired dog is a good dog. Puppy has been vet checked, (he weighed 10# on 12-1 and is the largest of the litter) is vaccinated and de-wormed. He will need one additional puppy vaccination plus rabies at the adopter’s expense. We do place puppies outside the metro area if a firm plan for the alter surgery is in place; we do not ship. His required alter surgery is covered by the adoption fee if it is done at 6 months at the PUP clinic. We require that he be altered at 6 months. If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a puppy, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. We are pretty slow at responding to e-mail. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a puppy. If you currently have a companion dog or cat please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption if requested. https://youtube.com/watch?v=it3wlyOkL_M https://youtube.com/shorts/n_8LJfzIcgw https://youtube.com/shorts/gGMZYI9jHuU Professional photographs by Clara Metivier https://youtube.com/shorts/n_8LJfzIcgw https://youtube.com/shorts/gGMZYI9jHuU

Meet Kris and Kringle — two very special boys who wandered onto their foster parents’ property on Christmas Eve. It truly was a Christmas miracle when they found warmth, full bellies, and cozy beds instead of being out in the cold. These boys are incredibly happy, sweet, and affectionate. They adore attention and will happily roll over for belly rubs, shower you with kisses, and follow you wherever you go. Kris and Kringle are wonderful with other dogs and absolutely love people. They’re ready to leave the miracle of Christmas behind and start the next chapter of their lives in loving forever homes. Could that be with you? Story
Noah is a smart, high-energy puppy who thrives on activity, structure, and plenty of fun. He loves playing with other dogs, doing zoomies around the yard, and chasing leaves as they blow by. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do best with older kids since he still occasionally jumps when he gets excited—but he’s learning! Noah is crate trained and housebroken once he learns the routine of his home. He walks well on a leash and already knows sit and down. His foster family is currently working on stay, and he’s proving to be a quick learner. Because of his energy level, Noah needs an active family that willing to continue teaching him manners and training. His mama was an Australian Shepherd, and based on how the whole litter looks, his foster believes dad was a Boxer—giving him the perfect mix of smarts, athleticism, and playfulness. Noah is ready to find a family who can keep up with his zest for life and help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be! Story
Introducing Zeke, a truly remarkable pup whose heartwarming spirit and playful energy are ready to light up a new home. Zeke is a handsome, resilient boy who, through no fault of his own, found himself searching for a new home. He's more than ready to embark on his next chapter, seeking a loving, forever family to call his own. Zeke is a bundle of joyful energy, known for his silliness and ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. While he may start off shy, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. He quickly becomes an enthusiastic playmate who thrives on the company of other dogs and will gleefully encourage them to play. Zeke is a smart and well-mannered companion. He is potty-trained and comfortable in his crate. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "go to your room," and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train further. While he’s working on managing his excitement (which sometimes results in enthusiastic leaps!), his good intentions are always clear. Walks are a highlight of his day, offering him a chance to explore and burn off some of that youthful energy. His barks will let you know precisely when he needs to go outside or when he hears you approaching the door. If you’re seeking an active, affectionate, and charming dog who promises boundless love and entertainment, Zeke could be the perfect addition to your home.
