Hi, My name is Poppet. I came all the way from Arkansas to find my Fur-Ever home. My foster mom says I’m a snuggly, playful and adventurous pup. Im currently working on the commands “sit” and “come here” but I can now go up and down the stairs like a champ. I’m really good at potty training during the night and will let you know when I need to go. Sometimes during the day, I miss the potty pad and go right next to it. I’m curious of the outdoors but unsure about walking on a leash right now. I love to explore so I’m excited to learn more about this! I love to sleep, eat, play and I get along really good with other dogs and cats. Although I have not been exposed to kids yet, I love people and I don’t nibble on my foster mom too much. I’m looking for a Fur-Ever home who will love me as much as I’ll love you, and a family who will play and cuddle with me!

From his foster: Meet Casanova, better known as “Nova,” “Nugget,” or “Lil’ Nuggie.” Nova arrived in MN from Arkansas on 2/15 with his 8 siblings. He is about 10 weeks old and only 4.4 lbs! That will change soon because this boy loves his food! They believe Nova is an Australian Shepherd mix so will likely end up being a medium-sized dog. Right now he is very much a puppy - he plays hard and then it’s nap time. He absolutely loves toys and other dogs. He has also been great with kids of all sizes. He is very bitey though so you’ll want to be mindful of his puppy bites around small kids. The bites don’t hurt yet but might be a bit much for a young child as he gets a little bigger. The puppy bites are pretty constant but with continued redirection and age, he will outgrow this! When he’s tired, he trades those nips for kisses and cuddles - he’s such a sweet cuddler! He also loves having his belly scratched. He is currently doing well sleeping in a bed in his crate at night. He’s still young and can’t hold his bladder all night so we have a small fenced area with pee pads he uses at night so he can relieve himself and go back to sleep. He uses this same area during the day if we have to leave. We are just starting to get him outside now since he came to MN during the extreme cold. We started off with pee pads and we find him gravitating toward the pads during the day to relieve himself. He does cry a little when we leave him but quiets down quickly. He loves his people and wants to be close to you so he will likely be your shadow. He often sleeps by our feet when working from home or follows us around the house so he knows where we are. They don’t come much cuter than this little guy!

Hi my name is Monsieur, I am from Arkansas. Monsieur is such a handsome pup. He likes to be held and snuggle but then likes to have a little space when he sleeps. He loves to play with stuffed animals and his tennis balls. He likes to play with his brother as well. He is very curious about his surroundings and loves to explore. He has been around other dogs, cats and kids and he does well. He sleeps in his kennel pretty well, he cries for a minute but then calms down. In the morning he can't wait to get out, give kisses and see what's new. He's such a happy fun loving pup.

Hi, my name is Loverboy I am from Arkansas. Loverboy is the sweetest pup and he definitely lives up to his name! He is a very small boy weighing in at just under 4 lbs but he is such a brave boy. He lives with 2 resident Shih Tzus who he totally bosses around lol. He has very good puppy manners so far and is walking great on a leash. He is just now getting the chance to go outside for potty training as it was too cold and he is catching on very quickly. He is really smart and very treat motivated so training will be a breeze for him. He does well alone in his own space but has not had much kennel training at this point, we're working on that now! He does like his kennel so I don't think he will have a hard transition. He loves playing tug and loves cuddles. He is working on being gentle with his mouth his little teeth are very sharp!
