Story
Meet Carmen, a sweet 8-month-old breeder release mini Aussiedoodle puppy. She is small around 10 lbs. She’s a brave little girl who has learned to trust and enjoy the world around her. Like any typical puppy, she loves to explore, play with toys, and curl up for cozy naps, though she can be a bit reserved when meeting new people. With her soft, wavy coat, Carmen is perfect for cuddling on the couch. She does best with other dogs around. She is still working on leash training. She is used to a fenced yard. She is kennel trained.   Carmen came in to rescue on Jan. 3 with a wounded back leg. She had a lacerated Achilles tendon, which was repaired. She has been wearing a cast and got cast exchanges every two weeks. The final cast removal was Monday March 3 and she is learning to walk on that leg again. We will give her a little time to walk comfortably and then she can be adopted. Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee $350 plus tax

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Argo arrived in November 2022 from our friends at the Rescue Network after he was rescued from a Reservation in South Dakota. He is about 3 years old does have a lot of the trademark features of mixed breed dogs from Reservations - "Rezzies", as they are affectionately known in rescue. Like many Rezzies, he could be a mix of cattle dog and German and/or Australian shepherd, just to name a few possible options. He's a handsome and very active dog. He has been vet checked and neutered and his fee is $125. Argo has had some basic training and will require a lot of consistent exercise. This is of the utmost importance in order to keep him well balanced and happy. He is ready for action all the time but gets serious when leashed. He does pretty well on leash walks and loves car rides. He's an affectionate guy, too, who thinks nothing of climbing into a person's lap if he gets the chance. Argo would do best in a home with a large fenced yard. He's not a dog for apartment living. He's looking for an ADULT only, single person home as he tends to bond very closely to his person and becomes quite protective. No cats for him. He's incredibly smart and would be a lot of fun to train! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Aggie arrived from the city pound on March 3rd. She appears to be 3 to 4 months old and is an Australian shepherd mix of some kind. There could be some cattle dog in there and maybe some catahoula. She is lively, happy, and loving. Her adoption fee is $150 and this will cover all of her basic vet work as it becomes age appropriate (distemper/parvo vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip, and spay surgery). Aggie is a puppy and will require basic training in all areas. She appears to be a combination of a few pretty intelligent and active breeds so she'll need a lot of physical and mental exercise. She should be a lot of fun to train. We do think she'd be okay with other dogs and is young enough to learn to behave with cats. She might be too much excited energy for very young kids. Story
Meet Cotton Candy! Meet the sweetest, funniest, goofiest boy around. Cotton is a little over a year old and full of Aussie energy. Cotton is looking for a family that has a great sense of humor and an understanding of the needs of this fun breed.Cotton is a double merle as is evident by his fluffy, white coat. It also can impact vision and hearing. In Cotton’s case he is completely deaf but does have some vision- mainly shadows. But this has ZERO effect on this boy and the wonderful life he will live!Cotton loves playing with other dogs and is generally fantastic with them- he is still a young, male Aussie that can’t always read other dog’s signals. Occasionally, he irks his companions but he’s a quick study and rarely repeats a misstep. He has been as respectful as he’s able to with the resident cats. Cotton loves all humans he meets- big and small!Cotton is a good boy in his crate and has (knocks on wood) figured out house training like a champ. Cotton loves to go for runs with his foster dad and is great at it. He’d be a wonderful training companion. Cotton is an active boy and needs to keep his brain and body busy. He’s smart and willing. Training him is a joy!Cotton is looking for a family that will encourage, train and help him continue to live a wonderfully full life. Herding dog knowledge is helpful but not necessary if you are willing and able to provide him the stimulation he needs. He does need another, welcoming dog in his new home. The give him a familiar, easy way to learn his new environment.Cotton will be endless laughs and the occasional head shake for his new family. They will truly be the lucky ones!So cute! Super cute!Cotton has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee is $450.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application if you have questions about Cotton or would like to meet him.

Story
Ari is very sweet, funny and energetic. She is incredibly enthusiastic and loves her family and all other dogs a little too much at times. She is good about going outside to use the bathroom. Her behavior can be difficult when she is not getting the attention she needs. She is very food motivated. Her excitement can make her difficult around kids , but she can learn easily .

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sky (who we call Mango because she is super sweet) is a tiny (15 lbs) Australian Shepherd. Sky is a breeder-release mama who spent her whole life until she was rescued raising puppies and living in a small kennel. She has spent the last two months learning how to be a pet dog and is loving her new life. She was not used to ever being pet or carried, so is still hand-shy when you reach down, but she LOVES attention and loves to cuddle. She is smart and curious, and she picks things up quickly. She is playful and happy, although understandably nervous of new things. She is learning basic obedience, like sitting for a treat and how to walk on a leash. Sky is crate trained and crated when noone is home, but barks at first when you leave (she stops pretty quickly, but may not work out great in a home with shared walls). She gets very, very excited when you come home. She is pretty housebroken on a schedule, but does not yet ask to go out. She will probably have a few accidents at first, but she doesn't have accidents overnight  and does well during the day if you take her out every few hours. She loves toys and loves running around outside, although is very much a velcro dog and stays right by your side--inside and out. She is good with other dogs and cats. Probably not a good fit for little kids as they'd make her nervous but would be fine with older respectable kids who understand she will need time to come out of her shell. She is a great balance of playful lapdog--would be a fantastic companion to someone who is retired or works from home.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
