Leia is good with other dogs and enjoys their company. She enjoys playing, romping and running. However, Leia needs a bit of guidance and structure when it comes to living with cats. A quick learner and lover of all things fun, she thrives on learning new commands and tricks, which also helps her build confidence. Leia is a little shy at first, so she would do best in a home with older children who understand how to give her space to settle and blossom. Meet Lady- Lady is a beautiful sweet girl with the softest fur coat! She is curious, shy, loyal and very loving. She likes meeting new people and dogs and is willing to socialize once she is comfortable Lady would do best in a home with another dog to continue to build her confidence, but would be okay as an only dog as long as someone is willing to work work her. Sweet Lady came from a hoarding type situation on a farm and is doing an amazing job adjusting to her new life. Lady is the SWEETEST! She is very smart, has great house manners and loves napping on the floor. Lady enjoys going on adventures and checking out the world and would be best in an environment without a lot of noise. She loves to be in the outdoors on our farm and walk about watching the chickens and other animals. She is very polite when you feed her and does not care for processed dog treats!!! Meet Roxy- This zesty, peppy pup is a joy to foster. Within several days she converted her foster sister, a seven year old 90+ pound labra-dane from her sedate ways to a playful partner for hours each day. Roxy has no fear! She bounds around both the house and the yard, pouncing on top of her foster sister from her couch perch to rile her up. They tear around playing for a while, then both have a much deserved nap. The Aussie in her is very apparent – displayed by intelligence and affection as well as her speed and jumping ability. Roxy is also a little cuddler. But, for now she sleeps in her crate with her toys and is very content doing so. She is completely house-trained… adheres to a regular schedule of going outside every 4 hours or so during the day and has made it 8 hours overnight with no accidents. She is a good listener, coming when called and stopping when called out. Roxy will be so happy in a home where she has a loving family that keeps her active and loved. Cotton is looking for a family that has a great sense of humor and an understanding of the needs of this fun breed.Cotton is a double merle as is evident by his fluffy, white coat. It also can impact vision and hearing. In Cotton’s case he is completely deaf but does have some vision- mainly shadows. But this has ZERO effect on this boy and the wonderful life he will live!Cotton loves playing with other dogs and is generally fantastic with them- he is still a young, male Aussie that can’t always read other dog’s signals. Occasionally, he irks his companions but he’s a quick study and rarely repeats a misstep. He has been as respectful as he’s able to with the resident cats. Cotton loves all humans he meets- big and small!Cotton is a good boy in his crate and has (knocks on wood) figured out house training like a champ. Cotton loves to go for runs with his foster dad and is great at it. He’d be a wonderful training companion. Cotton is an active boy and needs to keep his brain and body busy. He’s smart and willing. Training him is a joy!Cotton is looking for a family that will encourage, train and help him continue to live a wonderfully full life. Herding dog knowledge is helpful but not necessary if you are willing and able to provide him the stimulation he needs. He does need another, welcoming dog in his new home.
