Story
Sara is an incredibly loving, engaging companion who can't wait to meet you and everyone in your life! She LOVES people and getting all the affection, and she presses her head so gently into your legs as she gets pets, it's the sweetest thing. She's super intelligent and treat-motivated, and she's very attuned to direction from her people. She will be amazing to train for whatever her future family wants, whether that's just as a perfect house pet and walking companion with the occasional weekend adventure or a life partner interested in nosework, agility, or any other sports. She is confident and outgoing, loves exploring outdoors, and when it's time to settle down she is the BEST snuggler. She can curl herself up into the tiniest little ball at your side or stretch across your lap to be the best weighted blanket. Sara is curious about the cats in the house and greets them with a sniff and a kiss on the head and doesn't seem to have any interest in chasing them, which is fantastic for a hound/herding mix! She is also curious about the chickens but doesn't show prey drive with them either. Score! Sara's a special girl looking for her perfect fit, is that you?
Sara is estimated to be 1.5 years old and 34 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
