Story
Hi! My name is Valentine and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 1.5 yrs old and I've been at the shelter since February 14th.I am a very sweet gal who loves meeting new people. I am a ball of energy looking for a home to keep up! I will need some help on the basics but I am treat motivated and very eager to learn. I love getting outside to explore and stretch my legs. I also know when its time to fine a cozy spot to curl up in!My ideal home would be very active and patient while I adjust to new people and places. I made my way to the shelter as a stray so staff are unsure how I would do in a home with cats, dogs and kids. I enjoy getting to meet new dog friends but I can be picky so slow introductions are key!If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.VALENTINE'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Valentine and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Story
Clover is a sweet, shy, and loving girl. She is also a bit anxious with new friends (human and animal). She is currently 10 months. We have had her for 7 months. She has lived with my partner and I and our two young children (ages 5 and 2) and 2 kitties. We have brought her to and graduated from puppy training class at PetSmart. She has become house trained and has made major progress with walking on the leash. She is a cuddly girl and loves to sleep with us but also under my daughter's bed and in her comfy crate. Before coming to us, she lived with her mom (poodle) and dad (Australian Shepard) and sisters (as well as human family, including kids). Clover would do well with a big yard and lot's of walk and special care. She is scared of our neighbors and barks at them and recently has become more aggressive toward them which shows she needs more training and patience, unfortunately more then we can provide at this time. Clover deserves a family who can give her the care she needs.
