Story
Meet Smokey, a 6-month-old, 40 lb Aussie Shepherd mix who’s all about adventure, snuggles, and making friends!  Smokey is super friendly, has been fantastic with kids and she LOVES hanging out with other dogs. This smart & active pup is crate-trained, leash-trained, and ready for any outdoor adventure, happily hopping into the car for a ride whenever he gets the chance. He’s mastered commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “fetch,” even catching treats mid-air, and he responds perfectly to “no.” With his love for treats, he picked up training in no time, especially the “wait” command!  Smokey is very much a herding breed dog. His breed mix & instincts make him playful yet gentle, and he has been endlessly patient with all the transitions goin on moving into his foster home. He will need a home that is familiar with herding breed dogs, that is open to doing training, socialization and giving adequate exercise to make him a good canine citizen. He’s a quick learner, bath-time friendly, and loves to settle down nearby for a nap when you’re relaxing. This sweet boy is perfect for any family, especially one with kids who would love a loyal sidekick. Ready for a best friend who’s smart, loyal, and full of love? Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Sweet Skye Man has come to us as one of three Aussie mix older pups that are still impressionably young at just 8 months and 19 pounds. This handsome, yet shy boy, is looking for a family that will fill his soul with love and affirmation and confidence building lessons every day. He and his siblings were raised in an outdoor kennel with little to no love and attention. They were merely fed, but yet eventually were released to our Critter Cavalry Rescue foster mom.  Skye Man  is a sponge for life lessons and he is so receptive to human touch and love.  He is the smaller pup from his litter of three that we have in our care now. He is comfortable in a crate, but needs leash training.  There's so many exciting experiences and a wonderful family waiting for him out there. All he needs to have is the moment he is discovered and someone contacts Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to ask if they can adopt him. We know that day is coming soon. He is fully vetted and neutered and ready to hop on the van to the home in the Northeast region or to just merely meet a new family in Tennessee where he resides currently. If you were interested please email us at the address we just gave.  Be sure to let us know where you live, city and state. We will be quickly responsive.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Critter Cavalry Rescue it's so excited to show the world this very special red heeler mix boy named Ace. He is approximately 36 lb. 5-6 month old Aussie/red ,Heeler mix and has been in a very small town shelter for over 2 months with his two siblings. This boy is so very sweet and happy and handsome and smart. We are looking for a home that will appreciate the intelligence and devotion of the Heeler and Australian Shepherd breed.   Don't let what you read about herding breeds influence you to think they are at top speed all the time. They do love their exercise and energy, but they are cuddlers, snugglers, chill by your feet and wanting to learn. They are good with children and do make excellent hiking and running companions. Up for adventure at all times, this boy is not shy and does not have any emotional damage right now. We just got he and his siblings out of the shelter as of 10/15 and Critter Cavalry has temporary fosters.  We are now looking for permanent homes.  If you are interested in being part of the solution in the life of Ace or his siblings, please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm
