Story
Merle is 6-7 months old, super friendly with all people and loves playing with other dogs. He is completely housebroken, will sit, stay and retrieve balls. He loves to play fetch and goes on long walks with a passion. He has completed a pre-agility class already and is easy to train for tricks! Merle will grow to about 60+ pounds and so needs a backyard to play in and lots of exercise. He is a love of a pet, just does not get along with my cat.

Story
Hi there! My name is Stella and I`m a super soft, sweet lady who is looking for a loving family for my fur-ever home. I came to Berkshire Humane Society with my sister when our previous owners could no longer care for us. In our previous home, we weren`t trained to walk on leash and didn`t have interaction with anyone other than the humans who owned us, so we have some learning to do! That said, we`ve both been consistently going potty outside and keeping our kennels clean! Since we`ve had limited socialization and we`re fearful of many things, including loud noises, walking through tight spaces, being grabbed at and sudden movements, a home with kids ages 10+ would be ideal for us. My sister and I prefer to go home separately, as when we lived in close quarters, we argued a bit and had a few scuffles. We`ve been successful with play dates here at the shelter. Overall, I`d benefit from a patient owner who is keen on helping me work on basic obedience skills and taking things slow. Some of my favorite things are snuggling with my humans, going for walks outside, playing in the fenced in pens and hanging out in the sunshine. If you think I could be a good fit for your family, please call the kennel at (413) 447-7878 ext.126 to speak with staff and learn more about how to meet me and hopefully take me home!Dogs: MaybeCats: UnknownKids: 10+Weight: 50 lbs.

*Name: Oakley *Age: 8 weeks old *Current Weight: 6.5lbs*Rescued from: Puerto Rico *Adoption fee: $700 (includes $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit, and $50 spay/neuter deposit)*Health: Up to date on vaccines These 8-week-old Australian Shepherd mix pups have an incredible story. Rescued from an abandoned house in Puerto Rico, they’ve come a long way and are now ready for their forever families! Despite their rocky start, these little survivors are full of love, curiosity, and playful energy. Born as a litter of playful siblings, they’re looking for homes where they can be safe, cherished, and given a fresh start. Adopt one (or maybe two!) and bring home a loyal friend who will be forever grateful.   All of our dogs come with a 7 week group puppy course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer from Bark n' Roll.  Oakley is a sweet & beautiful boy. His siblings are quite fluffy hence the breed mix guess. He is local to North Reading and will be avaiable for a meet & greet on Sunday 11/17/24 from 11am-1pm at Bark n' Roll, 211 Main Street, North Reading, MA if not adopted before then. Please let us know if you would like to meet him by emailing us at rescue@bark-n-roll.com. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. Story
Lulu is a very sweet dog, she loves to play, she loves other dogs, cats, ferrets. she plays with all of them, she does like to go to the park, but if there's any tennis balls there she will grab them and think they're hers and only hers, and if another dog tries to grab the ball from her she will literally attack the other dog, it doesn't matter what size the dog is, he could be three times the size of her, she is potty trained for pee pads and poopy pants at night, she doesn't bark to let you know she has to go to the bathroom or not in the daytime, I just take her out before I go to work, as for children she's never been around any so I don't know how she would be, for the past week or two she's been nipping if I go to leave, I don't know why I mean she doesn't really literally bite but she'll nip at you, so she definitely needs someone to train her. She doesn't like just plain dog food, I give her a can of friskies cat food mixed in with the dog food the vet said it was fine
