*Name: Kisses*Age: About 3 months old  *Current Weight:  8 pounds*Rescued from: Puerto Rico*Adoption fee: $700 (includes $50 refundable positive training commitment deposit, and $50 spay/neuter deposit)*Health: Up to date on vaccines This adorable 3-month-old Aussie mix was born in the mountains of Puerto Rico, found wandering with his two siblings, and is now ready to find his forever home! Kisses is a calm, cuddly pup who loves to snuggle up just as much as he loves to play with his siblings. He’s currently in a foster home with other dogs and his siblings, so he’s well-socialized and comfortable in a pack. Plus, he’s already using a puppy pad—smart boy! Kisses will be ready for a forever family as of 2/28.  All of our dogs come with a 7-week group Beginner course at Bark n' Roll in North Reading included with adoption. If you are not local to North Reading you may opt for an included virtual private session with a certified positive trainer with Bark n' Roll. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Please note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.RNR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email. ##2307592##

Story
Roo is a dog who needs an experienced adopter who has the patience to get to know her before adopting her. Roo had a traumatic puppyhood and was attacked by the neighborhood dogs when she was 1, this resulted in a lot of anxiety for her. She is very obedient and knows sit, stay, paw, down, place and crate. She is great on leash and rarely pulls. She has fantastic recall and can walk with you without a leash in remote areas with no issues. Roo is wary of strangers and strange dogs. She has bit before (very minor, usually doesn't break skin) but hasn't bit in 3 years. We describe Roo's personality as a cat. She can be lovable, but it's on her own terms, she does not like it when you give her affection when she's not in the mood and she will let you know with a grumble. But when she is in the mood for cuddles she charges at you butt first for scratches. Once people understand her boundaries, she is a very low maintenance dog with no health issues.
