Story
Teddy is a wonderful dog and we are sad to see him go. Unfortunately, we just cannot provide the level of care that he needs. He is very sweet and mild tempered very tolerable of other pets and children. He has grown up with a toddler. He does a slow introduction to other animals, and he gets very excited he barks at approaching strangers but is very friendly when he meets others at the park, etc. his bad habits I would say our counter surfing leash pulling and jumping up on people, but he just gets so excited and so much love and attention is very high energy so best for family that goes to the beach, hiking dog park, etc. He’s really a very sweet boy. We will miss him.

Story
Maska is a vibrant and loving Australian Shepherd who’s ready to be your best buddy! He’s house-trained and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, making him a perfect fit for a family environment. Whether it’s playing fetch in the yard or going on adventures in the car (which he absolutely loves), Maska’s enthusiasm is contagious. A true smarty, Maska loves a good challenge and enjoys learning new tricks and commands. He craves attention and thrives in a home where he can get plenty of playtime and affection. His joyful spirit and loving nature will make him an amazing companion for anyone looking for an energetic and loyal dog! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, intelligent, and affectionate Aussie, Maska is the one for you. is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you)  To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, visit our website: WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM ** PLEASE READ: If a dog/puppy is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. In some cases this dog may be pending an adoption already, and their profile has not been updated yet. Please note, SPR does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated otherwise. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT.  Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort. If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, or in some cases in our very small private kennel facility on Martha's Vineyard and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A large majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation. To learn more about our rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of FAQ’s on our website at WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM. **The FIRST step in adopting an animal from our rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. ##2253334##

Ollie is good with children! No cats or dogs, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t like other dogs. If you think you can provide a great home for Ollie, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. Story
Clutch is a young Australian shepherd who is ready for his second chance with a new home! Just as long as you can provide all the booty scratches that Clutch requires. 😅 Clutch loves going on walks and hanging out with volunteers at NKASSF. 🥲 He’s a total sweetheart who has a lot of love to give! And with his thick, luscious coat, he’s already prepared for the long Rhode Island winter ahead! ❄️ Clutch would do best in a home without young children or cats. 🚫🐈👶 He has lived with other dogs though! At this time, we’re looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt situation.
