Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. They were vetted and fostered and adopted to a home. Due to unforeseen circumstances that were not at all of her making, Yozuri finds herself back in the care of Save a Stray once again hoping for a forever home. Yozuri is just happy about life. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Pinto is a gorgeous 10 month old aussie German shepherd mix who weighs 34 pounds. She is a smart and energetic girl who had to have her rear leg amputated because of an injury. She doesn't let it slow her down, and she is getting confident with tile and hardwood floors. She loves people and gets along well with the other foster pups in her home. She would thrive in an active home with people who will play with her. She loves to go for walks in the woods! Pinto loves to play with toys and exercise her herding instinct with balls. She is great in the crate and loves to near her people. She will also let you know when she needs to go outside! Pinto is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. I've been a very good boy when around the cat (under close supervision). There's nothing I like better than being with my people, but I'm a very good boy in my crate too. I'm a 50-pound lap dog! Foster mom says I need to gain a bit of weight - no problem, I like food and treats. I'm a smart boy who is quickly learning basic obedience and some tricks, I like food puzzles, and I walk well on my leash! Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator.
