Story
Chaz is a smart, curious and very loving 6 month old boy who is eager to learn new things and please his person. He was rescued from an Oklahoma kill shelter and transported to NE to find his furever home. Chaz is is typical Oklahoma Australian Shepherd Stock Dog. He has the build, strength and size of the original Aussies bred by Oklahoma ranchers to herd their cattle and drive them to market. Chaz is playful and loves people and other dogs. He is more “chill” than your average Aussie, but still very Velcro. He is already a good sized boy for 6 months and from his paws we anticipate he could range into the 60-65 lb range full grown. If you don’t have cows but are an active, outdoors person looking for a companion for hikes, camping, biking, climbing, cross country skiing or snow shoeing, then Chaz is the boy for you! Or if you are looking for an older puppy to train for dog sports like agility, fast cat, fly ball and disk, Chaz has lots of potential as a sport dog. Chaz has the thick wavy stock dog coat that is practically waterproof. A couple of shakes and he’s just about dry. And he won’t be shedding as profusely as you typical Aussie. If Chaz sounds perfect for you, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoptions There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family, a REFUNDABLE $50 neuter deposit which will be refunded upon proof of neuter and a $150 transport fee which is a portion of what we were charged for professional transport from Oklahoma to New England. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
