Story
Some dogs are easy. They love everybody and everything and have no quirks or issues. But doesn’t that make life kind of boring? Brayleigh is anything but boring. This girl was found as a stray roaming the streets of Texas. She had raging skin and ear infections and barely any fur. She’s also blind and deaf. But Bray is a strong and sassy survivor. With help from our vet care team, she had regular medicated baths and her beautiful coat started to grow in. Then she was a trooper and had dual luxating patella surgery. Through it all, Bray has remained true to herself. She’s very complex: She doesn’t like strangers and abhors men, but likes female humans and male dogs. Once she makes friends, she’s very sweet, affectionate, and playful … as long as you don’t try to brush out her mats or clip her nails. She’s gone through a lot in her 5-6 years and she knows what she doesn’t like! Bray loves to play, but is also content to lie down near her person. She isn’t terribly Velcro, but she does like to know where her human is. She likes to play with toys or just carry them around. We’re guessing she maybe didn’t have any her whole life, so now she will sometimes fall asleep with a toy in her mouth. It’s pretty adorable. Bray’s DNA test shows she’s a mix of Australian shepherd, Australian koolie, Australian cattle dog, and shar-pei. She’s a great size at just about 25 pounds. She’s good on a leash, great in a crate, and will potty outside if it’s dry or inside on a pad. She knows the touch command for “come” and is pretty convinced that’s all she needs to know right now. Brayleigh will need a very specific home with just a patient woman or women, preferably someone who has had experience working with “interesting” dogs. She’d probably prefer to be an only dog, but could live with a laid-back male canine sibling. Bray also needs a fenced-in yard for safety and would prefer someone home most of the time, although she is good on her own. She can be left uncrated and will use her potty pad and isn’t the least bit destructive. Brayleigh has allergies so she needs regular shampooing and brushing, daily medication, and weekly injections. Yes, she has many issues and can be difficult and stubborn. But don’t we all? It’s going to take a very special person to adopt this very special girl. But Brayleigh is so lovable, it’s worth the time it takes to get to know her. Plus she gives the biggest and best sloppiest kisses. ##915140##

Story
The tango is a dance that focuses on flair, love, and playful movement. We think our little Tango puppy was well-named. This Aussie mix is sweet, loving, and snuggly. But he’s also very playful and full of personality and can even be independent at times. He is a very busy, very nosy boy who always likes to know what’s going on. And he looks great while he’s doing it! Tango has so many favorite activities. He loves to explore, play tug of war, and sit on his person’s lap. Tango mostly loves other dogs and wants to run and wrestle with them but he needs some time to warm up to them. Tango is hearing and vision impaired, but it doesn't stop him from dancing through life. He is a smart boy and has already learned “sit” and is working on “come” and “stay.” He’s also doing great with house training and crate training. His ideal home will have a fenced-in yard and another dog buddy. And perhaps a dance floor. ##1475452##

Story
Titan is the cutest and sweetest little Australian shepherd puppy. He has an amazing personality and is so much fun to watch. Titan loves to be outside and is happy exploring on his own. He enjoys playing with toys, but he really likes to be around people. He’s willing to check out new things and go on fun adventures. Titan is hearing impaired and is blind in one eye. He can see hand signals, which is how he’ll happily communicate with his family. Titan is working on potty training and crate training. He’s great with dogs of all sizes and would enjoy having a dog friend. (But he’d also be totally happy being the only pup and getting all the attention for himself!) Titan needs a home with a physical, fenced yard where someone is around most of the day. Puppies just can’t be left alone for long periods of time. He’d love someone who has experience working with deaf dogs or who is very much willing to learn. He’s a sweet boy with the best disposition. Titan is being fostered in the St. Louis area. He is one of a litter of eight puppies and we will do our best to make the best possible match for each of the puppies. ##2017430##

Story
Slinky is a spunky and sweet toy Australian shepherd puppy who is bursting with energy and charm. Whether he’s zipping around the yard with his epic zoomies or entertaining himself with his favorite toys, Slinky knows how to make every moment fun. But don’t be fooled—this little guy loves his human playtime just as much as his solo toy sessions. Slinky loves all toys, but he is particularly fond of balls and crinkle toys. He’s working on fetch and seems like he’d have a blast with agility or dog sports. He’s such a quick learner and rapidly picked up “sit” and “stay” and is figuring out leash walking. He’s doing great with potty training and crate training. Slinky is wonderful with dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy to romp around with. While he can be independent, Slinky truly shines when he’s interacting with his people, so a family who can dedicate time to his playfulness and training will be perfect. As a young herding breed, Slinky will need a home with a fenced yard where he can safely stretch his legs and run at full speed. His new family should understand the needs of herding breeds or be excited to learn about them. Slinky is still a puppy and shouldn’t be left alone for long periods—he’ll thrive best with a family who has time to guide him as he grows into the incredible dog he’s destined to be. Slinky’s ideal family will continue supporting his training, give him the love and attention he deserves, and be ready to welcome a sweet, energetic, and smart puppy into their lives. Slinky is being fostered in the St. Louis area.  ##2232658##

Story
Flynn is an adorable Australian shepherd puppy with so much floof and loads of energy. He can’t think of anything more fun than playing with toys or racing around the yard with his foster brother. He finds life to be so fantastic! Because Flynn is deaf and only has vision in one eye, he is learning touch commands. He has already figured out come, yes, no, and good boy. He can navigate easily and has a blast doing zoomies and running and exploring his world. Flynn is working on potty training and leash skills and does very well in his crate. Flynn absolutely adores other dogs. He plays and wrestles and then naps with his canine buddy. He’ll even snuggle with a friendly cat! He definitely needs a home with another friendly dog who can match his playful energy. He needs a physical, fenced yard and someone who is home much of the day and would prefer someone who understands herding dogs. Flynn is being fostered just outside of metro Atlanta.  ##2287234##

Gorgeous Dina is a brilliant and fun border collie puppy. She loves to play chase and stalk her foster sister. She has a blast when she gets the zoomies and goes racing around the yard. Dina thinks playing tug is just the best and really likes to find floppy toys that she can shake and toss. Dina is doing great with potty training and already knows sit, come, and go to crate. She’s working on down and drop it and is so smart, she’ll pick up more commands quickly. She’s working on leash training and is fantastic in her crate. Dina is partially sight impaired, but it doesn’t stop her from playing and navigating the world. She meets everyone with tail wags and kisses. She especially loves rowdy play with other dogs. Dina requires a home where someone is around most of the day. She needs a physical, fenced yard and preferably someone with herding dog experience. No small children because she likes to herd and jump. She would love another playful dog who can match her energy and silliness. Dina is being fostered in the St. Louis area.  ##2232670##
