Story
Remington is a very regal old man, although he would fool you with his energy.  He loves to run and play.  He seems to do well with female dogs but does not really care to share his territory with another male dog.  He has excellent manners though and knows his commands, and he will do anything for food.  We don't know what he thinks of cats (might be too much for them) and he is not a fan of little kids, older kids (middle school/older) would probably be okay.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and hwt/fecal neg.   His adoption fee is $400 To adopt Remington, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comNovember 25, 2024, 9:56 pm

Story
Meet Penny Formerly Known as Porsia: Ready for Her Forever Home! Hi, I'm Penny! I'm just over 1 year old, around 40 pounds, and I recently made my way up from Texas with my adorable puppies. I was a great mama, but now that my pups are weaned, it's my turn to find a forever family to call my own! I may be part Australian Shepherd or Kelpie—whatever my mix, one thing's for sure: I'm stunning! With one blue eye and one brown eye, I’m quite the head-turner. In my foster home, I live with kids and another dog, and I absolutely love them both. I’m still young, so sometimes I get a little too excited and jump up, but my foster family is helping me work on that. I'm doing great with potty training—when I go outside, I do my business right away. I love toys and playing fetch! I’ll bring the ball back to you every time, ready for another throw. I’m also super affectionate; I enjoy giving kisses and cuddling up on the couch. At night and during the day when my foster family is out, I rest in my crate. I might whine for a couple of minutes when I first go in, but I quickly settle down and sleep peacefully through the night. I’d love to find a family of my own—hopefully just in time for the holidays. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and beautiful companion, I’m your girl. Let’s make this season one to remember. Ready to meet Penny? Fill out an application and make her dream of a forever home come true! Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. Story
Meet Indie- a 3-year-old aussie mix with the cutest ears and smile. Indie can be skittish at first, but with slow intros and gentle movements she warms up fine. Indie enjoys playing with toys and getting yummy treats. She also loves fetch! Indie loves to go on walks with the volunteers and enjoys running in the yard.In September of 2023, Indie had surgery to correct an issue with a luxating patella and is doing great! She's back to running around and playing like before. She is about 40lbs now and can likely stand to lose some weight.Indie is a herding breed, so as always, we strongly encourage anyone interested in her to do research on these types of dogs. Indie hasn't shown herself to be a big fan of other dogs during her time with us, so she will likely need to be an only pet! She promises to provide lots of love and laughter to her forever family!

Story
Fanny is a playful, purebred Mini Australian Shepherd. She loves belly scratches, playing with our toddler and cat. She loves doing zoomies in our fenced backyard and going on walks. She is not potty or crate trained, though she is making progress with pads. For someone who has time to train her she will be a fast learner. When she sees other dogs on walks she gets excited and whiny. With the right exposure, she would do fine - just like she does with cats and toddlers.
