Lionel- On first glance, you might be transfixed by these captivating blue eyes-quite characteristic of this breed. Australian shepherds are just a beautiful, intelligent herding breed. I’m not sure from where Lionel originated, but at this juncture, he’s a timid boy who will need some patience, nurturing and consistent positive reinforcement and assurance. He’s five years old and he was an absolute gentleman on leash. He is very sweet.

Mary has only been on our farm a short time and has been a lot of fun for our children and the animals. We are having to find another home for her as we are down sizing the animals on the farm and that means down sizing the dogs that are protectors/ herders of those animals going away. Mary has been great with sheep and goats and has much to learn but is willing to warm and has a playful/ obedient personality. She will do great with any other family or farm animals.

Ellie is a young Australian Shepherd that is great with children, farm animals and other dogs. She is a bit more reserved and does not demand attention, but want to run around and play. She has been around farm animals and has been fine with them, (she need to work on not chasing and playing with chickens…) but is great with goats and sheep. Our toddlers can be with her and she does not mind being pulled around by children. She is a thoughtful dog but n need of a new family.

Any pets marked with the "New Year, New Pet!" sticker, have had their adoption fee reduced to fulfill their resolution of finding their forever home! Adult dogs a part of this adoption special have had their adoption fee reduced to $99.00. Adult cats that qualify for this special have been reduced to $25.00. Apply now! CJ is hanging out in a foster home. Check out what they had to say about his first few days home: "We've really enjoyed fostering him so far. He's very calm and gentle. He loves to climb into a lap and snuggle up for pets until he falls asleep. He's so good with our son too. One of his cutest habits is finding any human in the house, getting as close as possible, then sitting down and waiting for pets. His speedy little tail wags will melt your heart. He's also managed to navigate our home surprisingly well and is steadily becoming more confident with stairs." Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart: Park in the PetSmart Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. PCH supports a 21-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match.
