Story
Daisy is a sweet, loving girl who’s ready to find a family of her own. She has a wonderful mix of playful energy and calm affection—she loves toys and playtime, but she’s just as happy cuddling up close to the people she loves. This smart pup already knows “sit” and “shake,” and she’s eager to please, which makes her a great candidate for learning even more. Daisy is also potty trained, eats well, and has very polite house manners. Daisy absolutely adores attention. If you start talking to her in a sweet voice, she’ll come right over looking for pets and cuddles. In her foster home, she’s especially bonded with the 10-year-old daughter and loves following her around the house. She even snuggled up and slept on her bed, showing just how much she enjoys being close to her people. She also enjoys having a dog friend around and happily joins in whatever the other dog is doing—whether that’s playing with toys, going outside, or even barking at funny things (like when someone starts singing!). Daisy has a playful, goofy side that makes everyday moments with her extra fun. One of Daisy’s cutest little quirks? When her foster leaves the house, she somehow manages to grab a loaf of bread from the shelf and move it somewhere else. She doesn’t tear it up—she just relocates it! It’s become a funny little routine that always makes everyone smile. Daisy is a gentle, affectionate girl who just wants a comfortable home, plenty of love, and a family to call her own. She does great with kids and other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loyal and loving pup. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly best friend, Daisy might be your perfect match. 💛🐶

Story
Shiva is a very loyal, very intelligent, beautiful, approximately 9 y.o. Australian Shepherd. She loves meeting human adults and is very curious about them. She is a neat and deliberate eater and enjoys her chow and snacks, but not food-guarding. She is healthy and up to date on her vet checks and vaccines. Her very favorite pastime is playing ball with her human. She can hardly get enough. Also, she is very good in the car, enjoying shotgun seat so that she can observe everything going around her. She is a very good walker, once she gets her playful energy spent, and she listens and minds well. She needs to be near her human, but is not clingy, although she can get a little "talky" when she wants a snack, potty break, or a game of fetch. She has lots of personality. Indeed, her only issue is her reactivity to other dogs, and though I've had no bad experiences, I would not trust her with young children who do not understand a dog's behavior.

Story
We adopted Arlo last July, he was the last puppy that needed to be adopted at a petco event. He was so cute and all white we fell in love. We wanted another dog for our older dog to help train and grow with. He is 10 months old. He is super good with other dogs and just loves to play. We hope to find someone who has another dog he can be with and a huge yard to play in. He is so cuddly and good with kids. He definitely needs a job to do or good long walks if he doesn’t have another dog to be with. Unfortunately our living situation had changed and we have found no one to help take care of him during this change. We hope to find him his forever home!

Story
Meet Icarus — The Sweetest Little Cuddle Bug Icarus is a house‑trained, gentle‑hearted boy who is discovering how wonderful it feels to be loved. He is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd Mix who weighs 57 lbs.  He willingly goes to his crate for meals—just be sure to have a treat handy, because he prefers choosing it himself rather than being led. He spends his days playing with his brother, Osiris, soaking up affection, and curling up beside his people whenever he gets the chance. Inside, Icarus will occasionally burst into joyful zoomies, but outside he’s a calm observer who likes to sit quietly and take in the world. He’s a true lover at heart—soft, sweet, and happiest when he’s close. He’ll gently paw at you for pets and will happily snuggle up any time of day. Icarus enjoys walks, toys, and a good bone to chew on. His playful moments with his brother are adorable, but his favorite thing in the world is simply being loved on. Because he’s easily spooked by loud noises and sudden movements, Icarus will do best in an adults‑only home or with a family familiar with herding‑breed tendencies who has respectful, calm kids around 12+. Life with humans who care for him is still new, so an experienced dog owner will be the best match to help him continue building confidence and becoming the best version of himself. His foster mom describes him perfectly: Icarus is a very sweet boy who loves love. He’s a cuddler through and through, always ready to curl up beside you and soak in every bit of affection. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his person, Icarus may be your perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Osiris — The Goofy, Gentle Watcher Osiris is a house‑trained sweetheart with a silly streak and a whole lot of potential. He is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd Mix who weighs 61 lbs.  He tolerates the crate when needed, though it’s not his favorite place, and he much prefers lounging on the couch where he can keep an eye on the world outside. Whether he’s watching wildlife through the window or sitting calmly in the yard taking everything in, he’s a quiet observer at heart.  Inside, though, he absolutely gets the zoomies. He loves playing with his brother, Icarus, and his goofy, playful personality shines through once he’s comfortable. His play style can be a bit mouthy, so someone who understands dog body language will set him up for success. He’s also known to steal a sock or two just to show off his mischievous charm. Osiris enjoys walks, toys, car rides, and a good bone to chew on. He walks nicely on leash—unless he spots a critter, in which case his herding instincts kick in. Because he startles easily and has typical herding‑breed behaviors, he’ll do best in an adults‑only home or one familiar with the breed and comfortable with older, calmer kids (around 12+). He’s still learning what it means to be truly loved by a human, so an experienced dog owner would be ideal to help him continue building confidence and becoming the best version of himself. He can get a little jealous when he’s getting affection and another dog tries to join in, but with guidance and structure, he’ll thrive. Osiris is the goofiest boy—silly, playful, affectionate, and full of promise. With the right person, he’s going to make an incredible companion. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
