Meet DeeDee, an 8-month-old puppy with a heart full of love and a spirit that’s blossoming every day! This little sweetheart has come a long way from her shy beginnings and now adores cuddles and pets. While she’s still a bit skittish with new noises and people, her confidence is growing. Once hesitant, she now follows her foster mom like a shadow and has become a true velcro dog. DeeDee is also comfortable being on her own and is making great progress with leash training. Though she occasionally has an accident, she’s doing wonderfully overall. She’s friendly with other dogs and is always eager to make new friends. Everyone who meets DeeDee falls in love with her sweet, gentle nature and her pretty face. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can continue to flourish and share her endless affection! Snickers is a purebred 18-month-old (JUNE 2024) Miniature Australian Shepherd. Beautiful coloring and a lovely soft coat. A little shy at first but gets more confident. Friendly with people but does prefer women to men, cats and other dogs. He can be protective of his home. An alpha/pack leader owner and breed experience is preferred as he can nip and be a biter. Training has improved this behavior tremendously. Australian Shepherds need a very dedicated owner as they get very attached and protective, also: 1. Owners must invest time in training. 2. Aussie's need to be mentally stimulated and kept occupied as they are very intelligent. 3. They need rigorous daily exercise such as hiking, running and games of fetch. If you can provide a home to Snickers with these criteria, please complete an adoption application.
