Story
Zeus is a very friendly and energetic pal. He loves outdoor adventures and make new friends with other dogs. Zeus is very vocal when he plays and although may bark a lot, they're just invitations for dogs to come join him. Zeus might prefer people over dogs as he might say hi to the dog owners at the dog park first before playing with other dogs. Zeus needs patience as he might need some extended time to adjust to a new place. Zeus with do well with a house with a big yard as he needs to zoom around and release high puppy energy.

Story
Our good friend unexpectedly passed away in Tampa, FL and we are attempting to locate a new home for his 5yr old Australian Shepherd, Lucas. He is a beautiful dog with a ton of energy and requires an owner who can provide a stable and disciplined home. He is fixed and good with other dogs, but has food aggression issues when being around people who are eating their own food and has bitten at least twice that we know of, so his is a unique situation. However, he has no dog food aggressions and eats his own food around other dogs while they are eating their food, with no issues. We have reached out to all of the Australian Shepherd rescues we could find, but they are unable to take him in and we cannot take him to the Humane Society or other shelters as he would be euthanized due to his history. We are heartbroken over the loss of our friend and we are trying our best to honor him by securing a new home for Lucas.

Story
I will be rehoming my two Australian Shepherds, Bentley and Berkley. I am rehoming home them because I am expecting children and will not have enough room for everyone. They are not brothers by birth but grew up together, they can no longer be separated. They are very energetic and will require someone who can provide them with enough exercise and attention throughout the day. They are very loving dogs to someone who they are comfortable with and will always follow you around. Ideal household is where they are the only dogs.

We adopted Uta from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. He's been an amazing dog but my disabilities have gotten worse and I can no longer provide him the care he deserves. He gets along with all my clients at a horse farm. He lives with cats and other dogs. Good with horses, kids, adults, etc. Knows basic commands. Still pulls on the leash but nothing I can't handle being physically disabled. Loves kids and strangers. Needs am active home that can let him run daily. Truly a wonderful dog.

Story
We purchased Natasha from a breeder in Texas when she was 8 weeks old. We are a family with physical disabilities that are getting worse and forcing us to rehome. Other than her breeder, we have been her only home. She's been around all of our clients and livestock. She is not good with cats and needs introductions with new dogs but is just fine with our pack. She has amazing recall and knows basic commands. We wish we didn't have to rehome her.

Story
Snickers is a purebred almost 2 year old (Dec 2024) Miniature Australian Shepherd. Beautiful coloring and a lovely soft coat. A little shy at first but gets more confident. Cautious with people but does prefer women to men, cats and other dogs. He can be protective of his home. An energetic, alpha/pack leader owner and breed experience is preferred as he can nip and be a biter. Training has improved this behavior tremendously. Australian Shepherds need a very dedicated owner as they get very attached and protective, also: 1. Owners must invest time in training. 2. Aussie's need to be mentally stimulated and kept occupied as they are very intelligent. 3. They need rigorous daily exercise such as hiking, running and games of fetch. If you can provide a home to Snickers with these criteria, please complete an adoption application. Thank you $400 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and all vaccinations and preventatives up to date. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours. ** All canine pets should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason.
