Story
Lexa was adopted when she was 12 weeks old, who is now 3 years old. All her shots are up to date and she’s been neutered. Lexa will need a large backyard for daily runs and will need to be walked 3 times a day to burn off her “herding” needs and energy. She has anxiety separations and gets really anxious, therefore, she’ll need a family with a LOT of patience. Lexa is an amazing dog who needs lots of love and care. Due to military obligations and lots of movement, I am not able to continue caring for her.

Story
    This is Diego. He's an 11 month old Aussie mix that needs a foster home. He was a "free dog" online and the original owners did not represent him honestly with the new owners. Things are not working out and he needs to be properly placed (after full vetting). He is scheduled dor neuter on Tuesday. We hope to have a foster in place by then. He's great with his people and FEMALE dogs. His behavior around cats is unknown because the family does not have cats. There was a pretty bad fight between Diego and the senior male dog in this family. Since the fight the family has been distrusting of his behavior around the four-year-old as well so to be safe they have kept them separate. This is why he has to go. For this reason, we do not want him fostered with male dogs until he has been vetted and properly evaluated. We also do not feel that he should be placed in a home with young children until vetting and evaluation. He's a beautiful boy and deserves a happily ever after. We can help him find it!! It may well be he just needs his testosterone to be taken care of. Many dogs settle down after neuter and it's never fair to these animals when the original owners do not divulge all the information to the new owners. We feel this is a combination of situations that has just worked against Diego. Charlie is a good boy. He has a lot going for him!! *Basic obedience *Housebroken *Good with kids *Good with dogs *Neutered *Up to Date on Vax *Australian Shepherd mix Charlie really doesn't have any strikes against him. But there are a few NO-NO'S for Charlie... he is a high-energy herding breed and NOT appropriate for the very young children he lives with. He hasn't done anything wrong but the family is wisely identifying the problems BEFORE they escalate (which they WILL once the children walk and run). Charlie is also not good around cats and small animals. Those are his limitations and we can respect that. He is currently living with two children (under 2) and needs to be rehomed or taken into a reputable rescue. Our rescue has no available foster homes... but what we CAN do is share Charlie's story. We can also assist by screening potential adoptive families and representing Charlie through our adoption search engines. We offer Charlie an "umbrella" of sorts. We want to help and this is how we can. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Jacksonville, FL Meet Blue! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 47 lbs. He is microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t neutered. Blue is fearful around strangers (he warms up quicker to females when introduced properly). He hasn’t been tested around cats or other dogs, but is fine with the dogs inside of his home. No kids, due to his reactivity! He loves to play fetch, run around the yard, and snuggle up on your lap! Blue has had 3 bite incidents last year. He bit a toddler on the forehead. He bit a child when they approached him on the couch with a big toy. He also bit the owner’s toddler after she approached him and tried to pet him in the kitchen. The owner is surrendering him because he has bitten their young children and shown aggression towards them. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for him, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
