Darcy came to me from an abusive situation. He come to love me and listen to a point. He will bark when scared or when another dog is growling at him. He was doing the Aussie nip when I first got him but he rarely does that now. He loves to cuddle but gets jealous of my other dogs when they cuddle with me. He is partially deaf but knows when you move and is right next to you. He needs a fenced in backyard to keep him safe plus he likes to run in the backyard. Sadie was a dog that was born on a big farm in Ohio. Her breeds are known for herding so she loves to have a task to do or just be outside. She’s the most loyal dog we’ve ever seen and other people are amazed at how loyal she is to the family. She never even thinks about running away. If she is ever off leash she does her business and runs right back to you(unless a possum is in your bushes) She’s amazing with our 2 yr old son and she’s been by his side since he was born. It kills us to have to find her a new home but with another child on the way there’s just not enough time in the day to give her what she deserves. Teagan is a 2 (ish) year old, 20 pound, fully grown Australian Kelpie mix that was adopted in December 2024 as a rescue from Puerto Rico. It seems he had no experience living inside with people. Teagan has come out of his shell and realized toys and play are fun. Tummy rubs and neck scratches are enjoyable for him, and he seeks out human company now. His tail wagging and happy greetings are heartwarming. Teagan is a quick learner, and knows basic commands. He’s shy, gentle and sweet, with a playful side that’s been fun to see. What hasn’t changed, is that he isn’t thriving in a downtown apartment living environment with the constant noise of traffic, sirens, construction, etc. Going outside to the bathroom here means navigating both pedestrian and vehicle traffic, which is overwhelming for him. Teagan isn’t cut out for the downtown lifestyle. Looking to place him where he can become part of a family and fully thrive.
