Story
Bradley (formerly Bradley Chonkers) is still available for adoption! 4 years young, up to date on shots, and neutered. Bradley is a beautiful Aussie Shep mix that would do great in a home with other animal friends. Bradley had a rough start in life and would love to finally settle in his forever home. He is nervous at the vet (like most Aussies) and can take a little time to trust but once he does he's loyal. He really goes bonkers around other dogs so if you need a playmate for your dog, this boy is it! Dogs tend to really bring him out of his shell. Bradley will do best in a home with no small children. He has a very mesmerizing look with one amber eye and one ice blue eye. He also gets along with his farm animal friends. He is currently in a home with dogs and a cat. If you'd like to meet Bradley please text Cindy at 321-263-5249 September 18, 2024, 12:18 am

Story
Pipper is an energetic, loving female 5ish Aussie/mix (not sure the second breed). My daughter got her as a puppy however when she was almost 2 my daughter moved to Colorado for college. My home was to be a temporary home but my daughter decided after 2 years she no longer will be taking her. We already had two dogs ourselves and had no intention of adding a third permanently. All three dogs got along great until our female got sick. She had surgery and not sure what happened but Piper and her no longer get along. Because of this we are having to isolate our female which is unfair to her. Pipper is great with our male. Pipper needs a lot of attention and affection and is very loyal. Pipper is very smart and if worked with properly would be an amazing addition. We work 8-12 hours a day and cannot provide her the correct lifestyle that she needs. Breaks my heart to have to rehome her but it’s the best for all.

Story
Meet Kali! This 7-year-old mini Australian Shepherd weighs approximately  20 lbs, and is ready to find a loving adopter who's ready to make her a new bff. Kali needs to be the only dog in the home. If interested, get ready for butt wiggles and kisses!  General Behavior: Kaliis a sweet Aussie who needs time to settle in to a new home. She is very cautious and shy at first, but once she realizes she’s okay, she loves to give kisses and wiggle her tiny tail whenever she sees you! Kali is a loving dog to her female human companion but she is initially wary of men (she will warm up to them eventually). Kali is a really wonderful pup who will thrive from patience and one-on-one time with her person/persons. Likes & Dislikes:Kali is an active gal who loves to run in the back yard and to roll in the grass - she requires a secure fenced yard for her time outdoors, where she loves to bask and play. Kali enjoys the pool, but she is new to swimming and would need constant supervision near pool-time, of course. Kali also loves treats and is given soft food as a treat - it's her favorite. Kali would prefer a female-only household, since she gives her trust much easier to women, any males visiting the home need to understand she may never be ready to approach them or be pet by them. She should not be forced to interact with men unless she initates contact. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body and goes to her safe space when feeling uncertain. With time, patience, kindess, space and love, she will warm up to men, but she is most comfortable with women in her circle. Training: Kali is housetrained when on a regular schedule and she is a very quiet girl who generally has good basic manners. She will walk on a leash but is terrified of anyone/dog/noise when out of the security of her fenced yard. She tolerates car rides. She is learning the wonder of toys, so be ready with ropes and plushies! She is very food motivated, so treats are always a win in her book. Medical: Kali is a healthy girl! She just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. Other Animals: Kali must be in a home where she is the only dog. She has lived with another dog in foster care but she is "dog selective" and sometimes gets jealous of another dog in the home getting close to her person, so being an only pet would be ideal. No felines for this girl, as she likes to chase them. Children: Kali needs a home without children and a lot of commotion. She is nervous with sudden movements or loud, unfamiliar noises and will hide if she's feeling overwhelmed. A quiet home with a laid-back lifestyle is what Kali is looking for and hoping to find. Maybe a retiree that's looking for a quiet, loving companion - Kali is your girl! Home: Kali's ideal home is a single family dwelling with a securely fenced yard. Strange noises scare her, so she needs space of her own without strangers or other animals intruding and startling her. She loves outdoor time to run, explore, sniff the fresh air and play.  Grooming: Kali will need regular grooming to maintain her beautiful Aussie coat, along with regular baths and nail cuts. She is ok with being gently picked up and she stays on the bathroom counter for grooming like a lady. Grooming for Kali should be considered in any new family's ongoing budget to make sure she stays on top of her spa days, keeping her looking and feeling good. Overall: Kali truly has so much love to give; she needs someone loving, patient and kind who will understand that time is the key to her precious heart.  Are you ready for someone who would love you with her whole heart? Kali would love to love you! To find the application to adopt, visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, had her teeth cleaned and she's spayed. Her adoption donation is $275. ##1546824##
