Story
Gemini Zod is a charismatic Aussie mix with a unique blend of charm and energy. This adorable pup came to us initially shy and scared, but it took just a couple of days for him to reveal the true star within. Gemini Zod has transformed into an outgoing and charismatic companion. His big personality shines through, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Gemini Zod enjoys an extremely active lifestyle. His love for walking, chasing after a ball, and indulging in some bone-chewing sessions is truly delightful to witness. But the real show-stopper is when he decides it's time for zoomies – his playful sprints and twists are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Gemini Zod is seeking a home that appreciates his lively spirit and is ready to provide the love and engagement he craves.  HE IS EXTREMELY PEOPLE SELECTIVE AND MUST GO TO A VERY EXPERIENCED ADOPTER. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $450 and you can adopt me at WWW.POLKADOGZ.ORG ##2048458##

Story
Eco is an 8-month-old female Australian Shepherd mix weighing 23 pounds. She is both very loving and sweet. She gets along with the other dogs but have not been cat or child tested. She does not walk on a leash so he would do require a home with a fenced in yard. We are working on house training her. She loves to run and play in the yard. The adoption donation for Eco is $250 which includes her spay, vaccinations and microchip. She is still too young to be heartworm tested. She has so much love to give so please come to meet her. We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html

Story
We adopted Snickers as a puppy from a rescue Snickers is a great dog, and he loves kids. He is about 9 years old. He is warry of strangers, but has come a long way. When he was younger he demonstrated a lot of anxiety around other dogs, but he is doing great now as we have spent a lot of time socializing him. He is crate trained. He has had shots, but is due for new ones now. We are also rehoming our female mix (shepard, huskey, beagle,???) Dakota is about 3 or 4, is not neutered and does not have shots due to extreme anxiety. The vet would not do anything with her when I took her. I believe that it would be possible now. She is very skittish, but loveable and not aggressive (she is a licker). She can also clear a 6 ft. fence despite being about a foot and a half tall. She only jumps the fence when she hears us out front and wants to go back into the house. She does not like to stay outside preferring to be inside. She is pretty bonded with Snickers for her anxiety.

Story
Amigo is a beautiful Australian Shepherd//Border Collie mix. He is 6 years old and approximately 50lbs. Amigo is a sweet, playful boy that loves all people. He is good with other dogs but can be a bit bossy with dogs that are more laid back or shyer than he is, he also loves his toys and can be a bit nippy over a squeaky ball. He is also very treat motivated. He loves attention and to be brushed and really wants a person of his own to love and cuddle. Amigo is such a happy and handsome boy and is unique with one white eyebrow. He is crate trained but not fond of the crate. He walks ok on a leash and likes to go on car rides. Amigo has pretty good manners but needs work on his recall and can be hard headed. He is house trained but because he wasn't neutered until recently, he will try to mark so he will need consistent training to get through this. He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on prevention, and microchipped. Amigo's perfect home would be one as an only dog or one with a dog of even temperament. He has not been around cats while at his foster home so we are not sure how he would do. We do recommend kids over the age of 10 year old since he is so playful and may knock over smaller ones. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. If he sounds perfect for your family, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever home. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Shep is a sweet and goofy 18 month old boy who is looking for his people to hang and go on adventures with. This boy is a big goofball and loves attention. Shep has good manners and listens well. He is good with other dogs and children, does well in the car and is crate trained. He is such a good boy! He is curious about cats, so we would say no to that. Shep is working on house and leash training and doing well and is a little unsure of loud noises. He is doing well learning basic commands. He is definitely on the submissive side and is looking for a soft spot to lay in and a person to hang out with. Shep is the victim of some bad breeding but he holds no grudges. He just wants a family to call his own. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If this sweet boy sounds perfect for your family, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

This gorgeous boy is Seymour. He is a sweet 2 year old boy with lots of energy. He is good with other dogs, cats and children and he is on the submissive side. He is high energy so probably better with older children. Seymour loves to play and splash in water. He listens fairly well but is still learning the word down when he gets excited. He is crate and house trained. Seymour is both food and attention motivated. He is learning to like being brushed. He rides well in the car. He is neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. Lots of potential in this happy, sweet boy.If you think he is a good fit for your family, please fill out our applicaton: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.
