Story
Hero is the hero we all need! Hero has come such a long way since entering his foster home.  He was very scared and unsure at first, but with some encouragement he has gained a lot of confidence. He is unsure with new people but warms up pretty well and is sure to be your velcro dog once he trusts you. He is a big lover like a teddy bear, he loves to cuddle.  Hero does great walking on a leash and loves to learn new things. He knows how to sit, stay and some oter basic commands, he is a smart boy! Hero is potty trained and crate trained! I have 2 small dogs of my own and he has gotten along with them well, he likes to tease them to get them to play with him and they chase eachother around. He loves to play with toys, tug-o-war is his favorite. He sleeps in his kennel at night like a little angel. Hero is the best boy!   ##1981545##

Story
Hi there! My name is Kiss-Kiss, and I’m the sweetest, calmest little pup in my litter. I’m all black with a tiny, adorable white patch on my chest that makes me extra special. While my sisters are busy bouncing around, I’m more likely to be found cuddled up with my foster family or just soaking up the love. I’ve even earned a special spot on the couch—my foster mom says I’m too cute and cuddly to resist!I’m a gentle soul and the most people-loving pup of my sisters. I’d probably do wonderfully in a family with kids because of my calm and affectionate demeanor. I also love other dogs, but I can be a little shy when meeting new friends. Once I meet them face-to-face and realize I’m safe, I warm up quickly and love to play. With plenty of socialization while I’m young, I’ll grow into a confident, well-rounded dog.Like my sisters, I’m working hard on my training! I’m great at sleeping through the night in my crate, and I’m making awesome progress with potty training. I’ve even started learning commands like “sit,” and I’d love to continue training with my forever family.I’d be happiest in a home with a yard where I can stretch my legs and play. While I enjoy a good romp, I’m a bit more relaxed than my sisters, so I’m equally happy curling up with my people for a quiet moment. My foster mom thinks I’ll grow to be a medium-to-large-sized dog (at least 55 lbs), so I’ll need a family ready to help me grow into my big, loving paws.If you’re looking for a gentle, cuddly, and affectionate pup to bring into your family, I think we’d be the perfect match! I can’t wait to meet you and become your best friend for life. ##2245923##

Keeper is sweet, funny, friendly, and extremely smart. He loves cuddling, playing, being with other dogs and humans. He is getting better at separation and has adjusted well to crate time! He is truly impossible to not love and makes you laugh regularly.  You can find Keeper sitting at your feet, snuggling in your lap, or giving you a kiss. He LOVES being loved and looks to you as his "person". He loves wrestling, playing with toys, training with treats, or simply sleeping in your arms. He loves music and being rocked like a baby! Keeper is already close to potty trained and goes potty right away when getting outside. He plays and sleeps hard, but definitely will need exercise, so should go to an active, loving family! Since Keeper is so young, he's new to leashes. However, he is super smart and will absolutely catch on in no time! ##2245927##

Story
Monica is a highly intelligent, gentle, quiet, quick to learn, dog.  She loves being near her people, whether that be curled up in a dog bed watching TV with us, lying on the floor near the kitchen while dinner is cooked, or sitting outside in the sunshine watching the squirrels and birds while her foster mom drinks her coffee. Monica loves being in nature, smelling the air and enjoying the sunshine.  She walks very well on a leash and loves stopping to smell all the great smells.  She enjoys chin scratches, ear rubs, and relaxing together.  Monica is extremely responsive, wanting to please, and changes her behavior when requested with a simple gentle verbal command.  She loves to snuggle in blankets with her favorite stuffed toys.  When we venture out to pet stores or on walks, she gets along with everyone that she meets, dog and human alike.  She is doing great with learning that cats can be friends, and would likely do well in a home with cats, with some gentle training and slow introduction.  Monica came to her foster’s home with extreme anxiety but has been making HUGE progress toward feeling safe and doing well in her crate.  She now sleeps all night in her crate with no problems, and has a tail wag and a kiss for her foster mom in the mornings. Monica really enjoys being with “her” people, and would love to be in a home with a stay-at-home parent or someone who works from home.  She has also done great accompanying her foster family on adventures such as looking for a Christmas tree or going shopping.  Note: Monica is still learning to be safe in the world again, after being in a shelter with her puppies.  She may have anxiety around separation and being in her cage / crate as she transitions to her forever family, so adopters that will be understanding and supportive are essential.  (Her foster mom has learned ways that soothe her and help ease her anxiety and would love to share those with her forever family.)  For more updates and photos of Monica, please see her Instagram at Furry.FosterFriends ##2245922##

Meet Rocky! This almost five month old little freckle puppy will steal your heart. His favorite thing is snuggling up to his human and giving lots of cuddles and kisses.  He loves to play with his brothers and sister. He is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. His love for cheese whiz and chicken is adorable, and it’s nice to hear he gets along well with kids. His shyness will likely improve as he becomes more comfortable in his environment. Story
Poppy (fka Noelle) is a fun sweet energetic almost 13 mos old aust shepherd/cattledog mix with some poodle and several other breeds. She is about 37#, loves other dogs, was curious about but friendly with the foster cat but does have a prey drive with critters, and loves to go on walkies and hiking. Poppy can be a little shy at first but it doesn't last long. Poppy is looking for an active home with another younger friendly dog to play with, a 5 ft fenced in (no chain link) backyard to run around, and humans who are not gone long hours. She has learned some basic cues and loves to learn new things. She has not been tested with children but a respectful older child 10+ should be fine as she does jump some. She is a sweet puppy who likes to cuddle but also is ready to play at a moment's notice. She can be a bit of a wild child when she plays but settles down after she is sufficiently exercised. She is crate trained at night, potty trained, and sleeps through the night if she potties right before bedtime. She may need a refresher in a new home with a new routine. She is not a good fit for an apartment situation as she does have the Heeler bark but doesn’t use it unnecessarily. If you are interested in meeting Poppy, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Poppy is spayed, utd on vaccs, and chipped. Her adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.  November 2, 2024, 3:49 pm

Story
Casper is a special needs deaf pup who is an energetic and lovable corgi/mini aussie mix. He is 22lbs and 10 months old. Since he is deaf, Casper is learning signs for commands.  He has already learned the basics like “sit” and “come” and his foster mom says he is one of the smartest pups around. He is a double merle and was born deaf as a result, but Casper has no idea that he different than any other dog. He has a silly and affectionate personality with a hint of mischievousness. He loves to play fetch, chase, and tug of war, but is also more than happy to cuddle on the couch at the end of the day. He does great walking on leash and enjoys getting out to explore the world, sniff all the things, meet new people, and make new dog friends. Casper is still working on crate training and would do best with someone who would be home most of the time as he is stressed when left alone too long. His dream home would have another active dog who likes to play, and herding breed experience is preferred. As a high energy dog, it will be important for him to get both physical and mental stimulation. He requires a fenced yard to help keep him safe, no cats, and kids 12+. If you are interested in meeting Casper the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Casper is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $425 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.  November 2, 2024, 3:49 pm

Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event:https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1727310##

Story
**Meet Victor: The Sweet and Playful Pup Looking for His Forever Home!**   Victor has been an absolute joy to have in our home, and while we’ll miss him dearly when he’s adopted, we know he’s destined to make his future family so happy!   **The Cutest Ears Ever**  Let’s start with the obvious: Victor’s ears are *adorable*! They’re the kind that make everyone smile and add to his unique charm.   **A Mystery Mix**  Victor came into foster care as a “stowaway" accidentally added as an extra pup on the rescue van- so we believe he was destined for a great family! While he was originally described as a pitbull/terrier mix, we’re pretty confident that’s inaccurate too. Just look at his little face and those giant ears! Yes, they are  ridiculously cute. Whatever his mix may be, he’s a one-of-a-kind sweetheart!   He is lean and fast with a smooth coat and paws that indicate he might grow to be small-medium size. His eyes are light amber color. **Quick Learner**  Victor is incredibly smart. Within a day, he figured out how to use our doggie door and mastered going up and down stairs, even though he seemed unfamiliar and initially nervous about them. He’s also quickly learning to walk on a leash. While it’s unclear if he’d been walked before, he now walks alongside us calmly without pulling or jumping. He’s still a little scared of passing cars or loud trucks, but with time and positive experiences, we’re confident he’ll grow more comfortable.   **Great with Kids**  Victor has been wonderful with our 8-year-old girl and boy. He loves playing with them and has shown zero signs of aggression or behavioral issues. In fact, the only time we’ve heard him bark was to invite our son to come down and play! While we don't have any other pets in the home currently he showed moderate curiosity toward passing dogs and given his sociable nature we are confident that he will do well with other animals. He didnt even chase or bark at the squirrels in our yard. **Crate-Trained and Improving on Potty Training**  Victor adjusted to sleeping in his crate from day one without any whining. While he didn’t come potty-trained, he’s already making great progress. He’s starting to understand the routine and has been going to the bathroom outside more frequently especially for “number two.” We’ve noticed he does best when taken out 10-15 minutes after eating.  Again, he did not appear to have prior training on this, but based on other indicators we believe this won't be an issue once he is given some dedicated effort to teach him the rules.  **Loving and Affectionate**  Victor is happiest when he’s close to people. He’s a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room and eventually curl up at your feet for a nap. He loves his toys but much prefers human company and interaction. **Puppy Energy and Potential**  Victor is sweet, playful, and eager to learn. While he didn’t know commands like “sit” or “come” when he arrived, he’s already picking up on our tones and learning not to jump up. With a little time and consistency, we’re confident he’ll excel at training. He's very attentive to what the humans around him are doing. Victor is a gentle, affectionate pup with so much love to give. He’s ready to meet his forever family who will continue guiding him and enjoy all the joy he brings. Could that be you? ##2252507##

Story
Domino is a very sweet, 50 pound energetic herding breed mutt that is about 6 years old. She loves people - adults and children, and she LOVES to run. One of her favorite things in the world is just cuddling up next to her favorite humans (which is anyone!), receiving love. She is great with basic training skills like sit, fetch, stay, leave it, and is good with recall. Domino also LOVES her crate - it is her safe space, and she does very well sleeping in it at night, or if she needs a break. She has never had any major issues with her health, aside from some issues with her teeth and minor bumps and bruises from romping around. While she is absolutely fantastic with people, she can be touch and go with other dogs. She was brought up extremely socialized with other dogs, but as she has gotten older, her behavior around other dogs has become less predictable. We have had issues between her and our other pets, and we feel like she may flourish to live her best life with another family.

Story
Kylo is a wonderful boy! He will be 5 years old in a few weeks and is very well trained and loved. He loves to play and is very food motivated. He knows a ton of tricks, sit, spin, lay down, high five, shake, roll over and is learning to sit pretty, he also knows to wait for his food until we release him. He is house trained, potty trained and crate trained. He loves new people and is great with other dogs and wonderful with our 1 year old daughter, he loves attention and is very affectionate. We absolutely adore him but don't have the time he needs and it breaks our hearts but we know that he deserves better as we are at work 9 to 10 hours a day. We would love him to have another dog to play with though im sure he would be wonderful on his own, or an active family. He loves hikes and is good off leash. A yard would be great but not needed, he is used to apartments. We've spent the last five years loving him and training him to be as wonderful as he is, we want him to be just as loved.
