Story
Colfax is a sweet dog. She is used to getting a lot of love and attention. Ever since we had our daughter we had not been able to give her the same level of attention which causes some jealousy between Colfax and our daughter. We have been trying to get Colfax to adjust and bond with our daughter for the last 20 months to no avail. We would love to find someone who would be willing to take in both Colfax and our other dog, Lincoln, since they are very close to each other. The ideal home would have no kids so they could get the same level of attention as they were given before. Colfax and Lincoln have slowed down quite a bit. A few years ago Colfax sustained a back injury when she was playing with Lincoln and they collided with each other. As a result, Colfax does need to be given occasional pain medications when she has flares up that causes her to be stiff. Lincoln is just happy to be a cuddle buddy.

Chewie is a cheerful and beautiful dog, a lover of people of all ages and dogs of all kinds. His favorite thing is to herd, so ideally I want to find him a home where he gets plenty of opportunities to do that with goats or other animals. He enjoys playing fetch and walking on trails, and is good off leash. I got Chewie as a puppy from On The Ball Aussies in Wyoming. He's spayed and does his business outside. I'm about to move to a less dog-friendly situation, so have to find the little guy a new home before I go.
