Story
Meet Bill D, a sweet and energetic Australian Shepherd mix who's looking for a special home! He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, but he can still be a little nervous at times. When startled, he may try to dash away, so he'll need a secure, loving environment where he can feel safe. He would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and up, as he can get jumpy and a bit mouthy when excited. But once he feels comfortable, he absolutely loves being pet and will wiggle with excitement! He's full of potential and ready for a patient family to help him flourish.

Albie is a fun loving playful dog who is looking for a loving home. We do not have the time or capacity to give him the space he needs to run around and play. Albie loves playing with other dogs and also loves snuggling up on the couch. He is 7 years old and is up-to-date on his shots. He is a mini-Australian shepherd and weighs about 40lbs. Albie loves walks and stuffed toys and will be your best friend!

Story
We call this gorgeous gal of the Thanksgiving Litter "Mashed Potato." She's as soft as a good whipped mashed potato, with long collie hair and longer legs. She's got a collie nose, too. A dog or kid sibling for her to play with is ideal. But after settling in here, she's become quite a snuggler, too. She's learning to sit and will now sit for treats and sit next to me to be picked up. She's inquisitive and loves to explore the backyard. She may make a good hiking buddy. She's had a bath, feet shave and belly shave and she did fine. She likes to give good hugs, as well. She is spayed and ready for her new home. Her hair is long and will need regular grooming. I put her weight and age into Puppy Calculator and she came out predicting to be 65-75 lbs!! She's going to need a yard and room to roam. She's smart and easily trainable. She is food motivated and is always eager to please us.

Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.

Story
Monkey is a 20 lbs, 1 year old guy. While he looks like a bearded collie, he is actually an Australian Shepherd/Cairn Terrier mix. Monkey likes to monkey around. He doesn’t climb trees though, nope that’s not his style. Monkey climbs fences! He’s a master of it! Although, he tends to do it just to get where his person is. Monkey bonds very hard to his human and would very much appreciate a person looking to bond with him. He’s dog and cat friendly, but little humans and strangers are scary for him. Monkey is working on his leash skills but for now a securely fenced in yard is required because leash cv walks aren’t his jam. At 1 year old, Monkey hasn’t seen much of the world yet. He was raised in the same home as his canine mom, dad, and siblings since birth and is just learning about life outside of his home now that he’s in foster care. Monkey is looking for a patient, affectionate, human that’s home often to spend time with him. Monkey is in foster in Fort Lupton, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/monkey.
