Story
Max was with another owner, and was going to be taken to a shelter. I took him in, he is a pretty anxious dog. He still acts skiddish toward me and I’ve had him for 2 years. He is very high energy and great with kids. I just do not have the time he deserves. He is not great with new dogs but once he gets used to them he does great. He has a 15 year old companion now that he does great with.

Story
Our beautiful Rhodi is the sweetest girl going, and she is looking for a special place to lay her head! Rhodi is about 40 pounds and is a fluffy girl. She is friendly and playful at times and is learning to feel safe in different environments. She has enjoyed getting to know the other dogs at the office and has been fine with cats in the home. She uses the crate, is almost house trained, and sleeps through the night. She walks well on the leash and is a pretty mellow dog right now, though we do expect that to change based on her breeds as she gains faith in people. She currently goes to work with her foster where she interacts with people and other dogs and then goes home and is the only dog. She is fine as an only dog, but would do well with another friendly dog as well and that would help her gain some more confidence. She does like to play with toys and bones and other dogs. Rhodi does have some of that BC/Aussie vocalization and nervousness. Though she does not have an aggressive bone in her body and she was loved, she is learning to trust people again. She can be a little head shy and worried, but as long as you move slowly and she gets to know you, she will give kisses and does love to be pet. We would prefer Rhodi go to a home that is understanding of her need for calm environments with a confident dog owner. We would not have her around young children and we would want an owner who is around more than not. She is going to be a spectacular dog, but she needs a home where she can continue to decompress so that she can be the best dog ever moving forward. She deserves the most wonderful everything!

He has a happy, easygoing spirit and brings warmth wherever he goes. He enjoys being around others, soaking up attention, and simply being part of a family. He’s the kind of dog who greets you with happiness, stays close, and makes you feel like you matter. His love is genuine, steady, and always there. Breed Info As an Australian Shepherd / Dalmatian mix, Benito carries traits of: Intelligence and awareness A loyal, people-focused nature A balanced mix of energy and companionship This mix creates a dog who is engaged, loving, and adaptable, happy to be active but also content just being with his people.
