Story
Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 35 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play and wouldn't get this freedom if they come with us.

Story
I have tried so hard not to have to rehome her. My husband is extremely allergic to her, he’s tried the allergy shots, I have an automatic vacuum and I get her deshedded. This is the last thing I want to do but I can’t hardly pet her and she has to stay downstairs with my mom. She deserves more and I want to find her a lovely home so all parties are happy. She is super sweet dog, loves walks, and is well behaved. Please consider adopting her. She’ll be an addition to your family and she will love you!

Story
Smart, playful, happy, and some of the softest puppy fur you’ll ever find — this hunk is the total package. Lucky is looking for a family that will help him grow and thrive with continued socialization and daily exercise. He would make an excellent adventure buddy with his eager, willing to try anything attitude. In fact, he’d be hard pressed to think of anything he’s tried that he hasn’t loved — even bath time. In typical puppy fashion he is working hard on crate and potty training. Lucky loves toys, playing with his littermates, cuddling with humans and mealtimes. Lucky is a 2-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Lucky is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Hazel is a sweet older dog (10 years) who we have had since she was a puppy. She loves to go on walks and play fetch, but also like a being lazy at home. She gets along well with our male dog but has always butted heads with our female dog (they've known each other her entire life). We think she'd do best in a home without other female dogs. We have a toddler and a newborn and have made the heart wrenching decision that we cannot handle her as a third dog anymore. She does fine with our toddler but startles easily so our toddler knows she is off limits for playing.

Story
ADOPTION FEE: $425 Meet Stella! This sweet lady was rescued from a life of neglect and is ready to find her forever home! From her foster: Stella is a high-energy, food motivated, intelligent mixed breed, ready to find her perfect match! She’s been in my foster care for 3 months, after being rescued from neglect. With proper nutrition and veterinary care, she is now at her peak health. This girl has come a long way! Stella is a bit shy and hesitant at first. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she loves being around her people. Around new people, Stella barks and shows wariness. In these experiences, having the new person sit seems to give Stella the confidence boost to approach when she’s ready, and treats are a key to Stella’s heart! Stella has discomforts around most other dogs. She has shown improvement on her weekly walks with a few calm well behaved dogs, but does not seem to enjoy face to face interaction. Stella would do best with a patient owner and would benefit from working with a trainer to help her gain confidence. Stella is a busy girl! She has a keen nose, and really enjoys engaging in puzzle toys. She knows many commands such as “sit”, “paw”, “down”, and loves engaging in learning sessions! Stella has more room for learning, and her food motivation makes training sessions enjoyable. She has learned to bring certain toys to play fetch. To those she is comfortable around, She is friendly, sweet, and has a natural love for companionship. Stella is kennel trained and takes to her kennel very well by being given her command “kennel.” Stella loves going on walks, she pulls a bit, and keeps a good jogging/running pace. Stella does fine passing calm dogs on the other side of the street, but shows reactivity (barks/pulls) towards dogs face to face, or other reactive dogs. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, energetic companion, Stella may be the girl for you. We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Meet Cosmic Latte, the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet! She absolutely loves human affection and will happily soak up all the pets, snuggles, and love you have to give. Whether she’s curling up beside you for some cozy downtime or gazing at you with her warm, adoring eyes, Cosmic Latte is sure to melt your heart. She can be very jumpy when excited, so she’d do best with a family that can help her channel her enthusiasm in positive ways. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate companion, Cosmic Latte is the gal for you! I am Heartworm Positive, which means I am available for foster-to-adopt while Animal Friends Alliance provides treatment. Don't worry, though, I've got a normal long life ahead of me, just need a few months of TLC and I'll be good to go! Before you ask, it's not contagious to other dogs, cats or people. Please call 970-484-8516 or email adopt@savinganimalstoday.org with questions!

Oli, Border, Collie, 3 yrs., 45 lbs. Oli was abandoned on our land a couple of years ago. He has a very sweet and energetic personality. He has been gentle with my husband and I and our children. He loves to snuggle up and be pet. He can get a little nervous and skittish around people he doesn't know. He is crate trained. He is not house trained apart from being in the crate at night. He has very strong herding instincts. He does chase cats. He would do better as an only dog with someone home most of the time. He could do well with another dog if he received supervision and training. Someone with Border Collie experience and an active life style would be ideal. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
